Quite possibly. I try to get on most - at last, as far as I can tell without being on a ping list - pro life threads, and there have been some ...um. Some....not trolls...not spammers, exactly. Some...very repetitive posters who claimed to have had abortions and suffered from none of the physical or emotional side effects those threads (that I was on) detailed. They were SO insistent, it was obvious that they DID suffer from at least the emotional side effects and were trying to convince themselves - by convincing others - that they did NOT, in fact, feel them.

I'm bad with names, and like I said I don't think I[m any pro-life ping lists, but I'm pretty sure some of you who ARE remember the kind of posters I'm speaking of.

As an aside, I'm really proud of my fellow FReepers for trying to offer some understanding, comfort and emotional support to those people. Which is exactly the opposite of what one of us might expect from one of the Obama crowd if we were to, say, suffer a miscarriage.

I know at least one of the FReepers you are talking about (I also know of several other FReepers who have had abortions and have subsequently dedicated themselves to helping others AVOID this tragedy).

I’ve talked to hundreds of women who have had abortions and my experience is that they ALL eventually have to deal with the guilt and at that point they either become hardened to life or they seek and soon experience God’s Forgiveness and Grace.
