I’m glad we may be getting these folks’ vote, but I’m not sure we want to exactly invite these kooks in our party either. The only thing we have in common, is the desire to see Obama lose. I know...i know...the enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that jive.

Believe me, I well understand your trepidation, but we may have more in common with the PUMAs than just wanting to see Obama lose.

These PUMAs are "mavericks" in their own right, and as such, are fiercely independent thinkers. They're not marching in lock-step with the Democrat party, and saw the shameful treatment of Hillary just like we did.

Don't forget how surprised and shocked we all were when the PUMAs first appeared. Our default considerations of Democrat voters were shattered by these rebels.

These folks are hopping mad, and that is a lot higher on the emotional scale than the average, covert liberal Democrat. I say let 'em in, and share what we have with them. I have no doubt that many, if not most will come to understand that conservatism is the bastion of the real rebels and patriots. Let 'em in so they can discover what real independence of thought within a group is like.

Think about it ... even Ronaldus Magnus was once a Democrat. And you know what happened when he got mad with the Dems? He became a Republican.

All your remarks are spot on.

They are in the first stages of seeing what the Rat party truly has become. Many of them will question it all, and some will in fact start a journey that will lead them to being more conservative. Once they begin to empathize with a woman such as Palin, and vote for her, it won't be so hard to reevaluate a lot of things the Rat party has used to "blunt" women.
