Let's Vote! (Former SNL Star Victoria Jackson Takes On Barack Obama!)

LET'S VOTE!

Whoever Obama's paying to help him appear to be a Christian, to win the Evangelical vote...is doing a terrible job.  He should ask me for a few pointers.  First of all, "obscure reference in Romans" is a dead give away that he's never cracked a Bible.  "Evangelicals" love Romans.  They have it practically memorized.  -"obscure reference in Zephaniah" might have been more appropriate.  And, Obama, when you say things like, "Sin is...being out of alignment with my values."  That is a blaring siren of Biblical ignorance.  The Bible says, "Sin is being out of alignment with God's values."  That's like the number one lesson in every book of the Bible.  You really need some help.  Your statements are New Age, relativist, & humanist.  Basically, they are textbook comments that go back to the first sin in the Garden of Eden, when the serpent lied and told Adam and Eve that they could be equal with God.  (Read the book "When the World Will Be As One")  "New Age" is the oldest false religion.  It is a lie. And as for your "church" or Rev. Wright,  Evangelicals think it's a sad cartoon.  Obama, call me.  I'll explain Christianity to you.

Maybe you'll get saved and start loving unborn babies.

Mark 13:22  "False ...prophets shall rise... and seduce, if possible,... even the elect (Christians)."  KJV
Mark 13:22  "...lying preachers are going to pop up everywhere.  Their impressive credentials and dazzling performances will pull the wool over the eyes of even those who ought to know better.  So watch out.  I've given you fair warning."  The Message translation.

I don't want a political label,  but Obama bears traits that resemble the anti- Christ and I'm scared to death that un- educated people will ignorantly vote him into office.  My mom likes him because his children are well dressed!

You see, what bothers me most, besides being a Communist, and a racist (Obama writes in his book, From Dreams of My Father, "I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and and animosity against my (white) mother's race.") (Obama's religion of the last 20 years is Black Liberation Theology.  What is that?  "It is simply Marxism dressed up in Christian rhetoric.  But unlike traditional Marxism, Black Liberation Theology emphasizes race rather than class.  It's leading theorist is James Cone who says Jesus was black, African-Americans are the chosen people, and whites are the devil.  Cone says, "What we need is the destruction of whiteness, which is the source of human misery in the world."  The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor), is that he is a LIAR.  He pretends to be a Christian and he incriminates himself everytime he speaks about Christianity.  To lie about being a believer in Christ is very dangerous.  Lightning could strike him at any minute!  But seriously, he doesn't have a clue what the Bible says and yet he pretends to be a church- going Christian to win votes.  That is sooooo evil.

In a 2004 interview with Cathleen Falsani for her book, Obama said, "...I believe there are many paths to the same place....and all people of faith - Christians, Jews, animists, everyone --- know the same God."  This is not Christianity.  It is universalism.  Either Obama doesn't know John 14:6, "Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father but by me,"  or he doesn't believe it.  You can't be a Christian and not believe the Bible is the Word of God!  Obama goes on to say he doesn't believe in hell, and he doesn't know what happens to him when he dies.  One cannot deny the central tenets of the Christian faith and be a Christian (Christ-follower).  Obama is a liar.

I know my stance might keep me from LA jobs, since (almost) the whole town is liberal but, some time in a man's life, or a bleach blonde 49 year old woman's life, one must stand for what they believe in, and put truth before popularity.

I pray that our country will have a revival, and that God will forgive us for our rejection of Him.  He blessed our country because we worshipped Him.  But, now our public places have kicked him out, and subsequently, (or coincidentally?), our nation is being attacked by our enemies.

(By the way, the Bible says, "Love Your Enemies, Bless Them That Curse You."
and the Koran says, "Kill the Infidel. (that means non-Muslims).  I don't think people know that.)

I was reading the other day in Leviticus 26:3-13, and Leviticus 26:14-25 and on, where God was warning the Israelites to obey him.  In Lev. 26:14-16 it even says, "...if you despise my statutes...I will even appoint terror over you."  I couldn't help but see a parallel to our country which was founded on the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

Just today I heard a quote from Obama where he was mocking the Old Testament (The 10 Commandments)and the Sermon on the Mount.  I wouldn't want to be Obama on Judgement Day, but I especially don't want him to be the leader of my country.

My country isn't the way it used to be when I grew up, and I miss it so much.  I contribute this directly to a rapid decline in Bible teaching resulting in the break up of the family unit, the anchor of a society.  It makes me sad, but I have hope because of God's unending forgiveness and his promise in II Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land."

"We must in all seriousness ask if Barack Hussein Obama could be a Muslim terrorist sympathizer or a Marxist mole.  His closest friends include Communists, domestic and Muslim terrorists, racists and convicted felons.  In his book Audacity of Hope, Barack Hussein Obama says, "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

"It is ironic and ominous that just 7 years after Islamic fundamentalist terrorists blew up the World Trade Center, that America may be about to elect a President with three Islamic names - Barack Hussein Obama - who has an Islamic education (in Indonesia), and strong Islamic ties and leanings."

(The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor)

Come On America!  Wake Up!  How stupid can you people be?!

One of the leading Islamic Extremist organizations, Hamas, endorsed Obama!  HELLO!

HOPE Americans start researching the candidates before they vote, and that they
CHANGE from ignorance and/or apathy to a passion for the Truth!

There is one place in the Bible where sin is defined very clearly: 1 John 3:4 “Sin IS the transgression of the law”.

There are many places where we can easily figure out what “law” is being talked about. It is the Ten Commands. For those not familiar with the Bible, one place they are given is in Exodus 20.

NB: Socialism must violate three of the Ten: lies, coveting and theft. “Social Justice” is a futile attempt to define secular values for those expressed in the Ten Commands.

Near as I can tell, Sarah Palin thinks like Victoria Jackson, looks like Tina Fey and her voice sounds just like Julia Sweeny. Who knew that SNL women were the embodiment of the empowered conservative female?

Especially with friends like Andrew Dice Clay, who she starred with in the movie “Casual Sex?” Didn’t make for a good SNL boycott of him with her not on board.

She became an outspoken Christian, and thus was blackballed in hollywierd.

I was about to say -- 'After that article I bet she never works in Hollywood again'.

Thanks 'Recovering_Democrat' for the post -- I didn't know this about Victoria Jackson.

I have always liked her, too. Must have been what some call “the scent of Christ”.

But... she’s a bleach blonde? Disappointed... ;=)

If VJ isn’t a FReeper, she should be.

Let me clarify something caused by thick fingers on little keys: “social justice” is an attempt by people who either are ignorant of the Ten Commands or who are hostile to them to replace them with secular, subjective and relativistic rules.

Note that two of the Ten relate to marriage: coveting and adultery. Notice that two of the Ten relate to property: coveting and theft.

Social Justice and Socialism must seize private property to fund powersharing and to enforce income redistribution. This is coveting. Because it is generally done via government, it is theft “under the color of law”, a phrase meaning that it is still wrong even when it is given the appearance or “color” of being otherwise legal.

Socialism as an economic system cannot function for long because it destroys wealth instead of increasing it. It must deny people the unalienable right to freely trade at mutually agreeable prices and terms. It must be enforced by coercion, via the credible threat of deadly force.

Socialism is antithetical to the economic and liberty values in the Bible.

Way to go Victoria!

Not to be picky, but “The Law” refers to the “Pentateuch”, or first five books of the Bible. The Ten Commandments are the basis of all the other laws laid out in these books, so you have the basis correct.

I found this:
The first five books of the Bible are sometimes called the Pentateuch which means “five books.”
They are also known as the books of the law because they contain the laws and instruction given by the Lord through Moses to the people of Israel.
These books were written by Moses, except for the last portion of Deuteronomy because it tells about the death of Moses.
These five books lay the foundation for the coming of Christ in that here God chooses and brings into being the nation of Israel. As God’s chosen people, Israel became the custodians of the Old Testament, the recipients of the covenants of promise, and the channel of Messiah

Hey, have you ever asked someone who uses “social justice” casually to describe their political views

exactly what “social justice” means?

If they’re savvy, they’ll act confused & flustered, because it can’t be described without sounding like a arrogant commie.

Also, “social justice” is an inherently ARROGANT term, because you’re taking it upon yourself to define UNIVERSAL justice, as in who deserves what (only God can do that),

and you’re taking it upon yourself to deprive some people of their rights and property in order to implement your own self-centered definition of that justice.

Thank you.

Scrolling down her blog I see this:

Open Letter to Joy Behar and Others Who Speak Like Her:

I’m really tired of your hatred rants against Pres. Bush. Have some respect for authority and for the people like me who voted for him. I did not vote for Bill Clinton, but I would never use my SNL connection to publicly criticize him and I would never speak of another human being with such vitriol. Pres. Bush did not start the war against America and he is doing a great job with the situation that was put upon him. Also, we do not have a king. Our system of government has checks and balances. Instead of complaining, why don’t you take a political history course and run for office and see what good you can do for the world.

The tongue is a powerful little thing. Use it for some good.

Love,
VJ

Well, I “favorited” her blog. Refreshing. I like her description on NYC that she wrote while auditioning for a role in Law and Order. I’m a small town girl and can relate to it.

My post was mainly oriented at those lurkers who were not very familiar with the Bible. Rather than refer them to the 613 points in Torah, some of which do not directly apply in the culture wars we face at the moment, I settled on using the Ten Commands as the succinct summary of the values that God directed Moses to record in the Pentateuch.

The issue with respect to Victoria Jackson pertains to a culture that has rejected even the most basic points of God's Law. Even as the left yearns for “social justice”, and writes volumes on it, and conducts countless street protests on the topic, it would find peace and prosperity if it only observed the Ten Commands.

But, and in reference to your point, the Commands against coveting and theft are not the whole expression of God's thoughts on property. If anyone is yearning for “social justice”, I would ask them to read Leviticus 19 where God also requires Israel to appoint righteous judges who will studiously treat all parties the same: to not favor the rich or discriminate against the poor in a dispute.

Soever, Lev 19 requires the farmer to reserve a portion of his field to allow the poor to glean food. I suspect that an advocate of “social justice” would dismiss this because the portion is fixed; the farmer does not have to worry that next year the “corner” will be enlarged because of “urgent and unfunded needs”. The corner is always just the corner.

It appears to me that advocates of “social justice” are looking for excuses to play Robin Hood- to take from anyone who has and give to favored people who claim to have not. All manner of lies are told to the public to justify the coveting that leads to this theft.

Because God, in the full Law, prohibits lies, coveting, and theft, all this socialization is in violation of 1 John 3:4.

The advocates of “social justice” are just practicing, as Sowell puts it, the “Politics of Self-Congratulation”. They’re doing it for their own self aggrandizement, and for their own power to determine who gets what.

I don’t know how anyone can claim to be a Christian and push class warfare and envy. Clearly a violation of, and an encouragement of others to violate, “thou shall not covet”. And it SPECIFICALLY SAYS “your neighbor’s house”!

And just last week the dhimmirats main talking point was about how many houses McCain owns.
