Well that tune sure wasn't going to last very long.

(I got it recorded to DVD)

They should be happy that their tired old song is reaching an audience.

As soon as I heard that song, I knew that this would be the next headline.

Now I'm just waiting for John Fogerty to do the same, for their use of his "Centerfield."

They don’t own the song, Capitol records does, so eff them.

Ann and Nancy Wilson are two used up, drug ravaged, knuckleheads who should thank God they live in America.

They sure made plenty of dough here.

And that is why you will only see c&w acts at republican events.
Which is fine if you do like c&w.

Perhaps the RNC could use “The Barracuda” by the soul group Alvin Cash & the Crawlers, from 1965.

I figured it would end like this too.

Not a flattering song either. Palin should use a Ted Nugent song, for sure.

“Oh, OK. We promise. We won’t use it during the 2008 Republican convention any more.”

I am sure the RNC paid the fee to the owners of the song.

Exactly, the lib “artists” like to make a fuss, like Yoko Ono and others, but if they had any say, the Pretenders would have sued El Rushbo long ago for his theme song.

I love Sarahcuda, but those gals couldn’t bear the truth that Stevie Nick’s lipo doc was booked and couldn’t be seen before the inaugural.

I wondered why they didn’t just get Gretchen Wilson to perform it live. She does an incredible job on that song, and she was already there (she performed at the convention on Wednesday).

See her sing Barracuda here:
