That’s true. McCain really wasn’t talking to us here on Thursday. He gave us and Sarah on Wednesday. Thursday was talking to the “moderates” and to undecideds - people concerned about America, not ideology. I could hardly stand most of Thursday myself, but he was not talking to me.

We’ll just have to see ... no matter what, though, he got the conservatives back into the Republican party last Friday - with two little five-letter words: Sarah Palin.

I think she has. And I said on friday that I thought the speech sucked. But I guess from looking at some of the polling data posted at FR the election is about tied. So the ticket is in good shape heading into the last 8 weeks. Palin is our anchor in the storm I guess while McCain goes after folks in blue states like PA and to some extent Ohio that are clinging to their guns and religion. Ohio has a dem governor so I’m calling it a blue state.
