Where, in the scriptures, did Jesus ever try to organize a community?

I was wondering the same thing. Which particular community was he organizing? As I remember his ministry, he traveled to various communities.

He did gather followers but for different reasons then the big 0.

It’s not nice to compare ones self to Jesus.

Well, the community of God’s People, for those who accept and receive Him, Jesus.

He didn’t. He wanted to remove the corrupt so-called Jewish leaders and bring the synagogues back to serving the people.

It doesn't...in fact just the opposite

Matthew 10:34-36

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household."

He has, and is, organizing a community that is billions strong, a community called the church, that has lasted for 2,000 years. It is an organization that has survived war, famine, disease, and persecution. If Barack Obama can match that feat, then I might consider voting for him.

I think “community organizer” means prosletyzer for the leftist secularist religion. So just like Jesus started/spread Christianity, Obama spread his own leftist religion.
