Williams Hides Behind Pantsuits to Take 'Who's Minding Baby?' Shot

It's not shaping up to be a big Brian Williams Fan Club day for me here at NB. Earlier, I noted how the Nightly News anchor seemed to suggest Sarah Palin was playing the race card. Here I am again, back on the Brian beat. Interviewing former GOP governor of Massachusetts Jane Swift at the top of MSNBC's 1 PM EDT hour, Williams hid behind unnamed feminists to make the "who's looking after baby?" charge against Sarah Palin.

BRIAN WILLIAMS: Are the women who consider themselves feminists, and are perhaps working women with several children, are they wrong when they express fears or doubts that she should be able to do this, that she should be doing this?

Swift, who gave birth to twins while serving as governor, made quick work of Williams' question. FWIW, I hadn't seen Swift in action before and found her impressive

I can’t believe that the MSM idiots are still trying to make an issue out of working moms, 50 years after the start of the feminist movement. They are digging themselves a hole they’ll never get out of.

Most of us have wives, daughters, and/or know doctors, engineers coworkers, nurses, lawyers, ministers etc. etc. etc. who are doing the balancing act and doing it very well.

The eastern elite should know it can be done. They hand their kids off to maids and nannies everyday before they head to their studios in the city to bash the majority of working women who don’t have it as easy as them.

They are not credible.

I believe I read Todd Palin is a stay-at-home dad, so he is taking care of the children.

It sure seems like it... As a woman, mother, small business owner, it irritates me that people still think a woman can't be successful and balance everything in her life. Women are very good multi-taskers.

Someone said Nancy Pelosi has five children. If true, and they are all like her, then all five must have a mental disorder of some kind.

I had to laugh when he took over for Brokaw; they tried to
portray him as a NASAR loving regular guy. What a Joke!

Nora must be a “feminist” ...

Pregnant MSNBC Washington Correspondent Says She’ll Be Back for Presidential Conventions.

Norah O’Donnell, MSNBC’s chief Washington correspondent, who had twins last year, announced that she’s pregnant with a single baby who’s due in July, according to the web site Media Bistro. “O’Donnell tells us she’ll be back in time for the Democratic and Republican Conventions in late August,” Media Bistro reported. “Wouldn’t miss it!” O’Donnell told the web site. (March 2008)

On May 19, 2007 O’Donnell and husband Geoff Tracy (owner of D.C. restaurant, Chef Geoff’s) became the parents of twins whom they named Grace and Henry.[citation needed]

On MSNBC’s Tim Russert show (airdate: 2/23/08), Tim announced that O’Donnell was expecting her third child, “an Irish triplet,” in June 2008.

On July 5, 2008, O’Donnell and her husband welcomed their third child, a girl named Riley Norah Tracy. She was named Riley in honor of Tim Russert, who said that if he had a daughter, that was what he would name her.

What the MSM is really trying to say is that conservative women belong in the kitchen and women’s rights only apply to liberals-it’s as close to an open admission of a double standard as the intellectually bankrupt left can make.

I watched a few minutes of Brian Williams last night, he looked like he was sucking on a sour lemon the whole time.

It was obviously he hated being there with the Republicans.

As the FOX NEWS ccameraman panned the floor during Palin's speech I spotted a few of the lib floor reporters like Bob Shieffer (Face the Nation) looking very uncomforable knowing how much they hate Republicans as they were standing among them.

These MSM idiots should listen to themselves! They should ask themselves “What would happen if every woman who has children were forced to drop out of the working world tomorrow?”

This was done by the Taliban in Afghanistan. All of a sudden, all their doctors, nurses, restaurant owners, authors, business women, teachers, etc. disappeared from the work force.

It could happen here if Obama is elected. He’s one heartbeat away from Osama Bin Laden.
