The info you want IS in those numbers. Each rating point is about 1.1 million households. The 5.4 rating tells you about 6 million households. The 8 share means they got about 8% of the sets in use at the time.
I think that may have been a fake MySpace page for him (the one turning him into a cursing redneck who doesn’t want kids). Someone here said it had only been set up for the controversy, so it may be a political slimejob..... don’t know if that has been settled 100% or not.
category snObama SaraBarracuda
12-17 yo 1.1M 0.6M
18-34 6.7M 5.5M
18-49 16.0M 14.1M
55+ 16.5M 17.8M
Af.Am 7.5M 3.0M
Hisp 5.2M 1.4M
M=Millions Look where the difference lies: snObama needed 8M more “color” viewers to get his 38M - except for those, he would have had only about 15% more audience than the two days before with Hitlery and Bill&Biden !!! Those are the unswayables, anyway! Also, 1/2 million of his ‘advantage’ were too young to vote!
BET and Telemundo carried snObama's but didn't carry Palin's. CSPAN not included in these numbers (That is where I watched - no talking heads interrupting.)
Hurricane Sarah Wins the rating race BIG time, I believe.
Excellent, thank you.
Actually Obama said he went to 57 states but that he didn't go to Alaska. That would mean there are 58 states in Obama's USA.
BTW, he didn't need to go to Alaska. Alaska came to him.
“BTW, he didn’t need to go to Alaska. Alaska came to him.”
Hahaha!
Interesting. Thanks for the ping, AFPhys.
“Your momma?” asks Obama. “I know how to fund a campaign. Hey, can someone donate some more? I’m a little light right now.”

Bump for great news! GO BARRACUDA!!!!
Great post.
That "evil genius" has a name... Steven Shmidt, aka "Bullethead". He is a protege of Karl Rove, and evidently Rove's heir...

Let me guess, were the first words of damnation out of their mouths that Palin (gasp) was not for abortion "rights"?
oh, that’s good!! thanks for posting the link
Erin ‘the monkey’ Burnett
I find this so facinating.
What did they say was the most offensive to them.
These people really wear blinders. I’m blown away how these people’s perceptions are so different
“Thanks to the medias full-scale assault on her, millions tuned in and saw Gov. Palin knock out a stunning speech. Now America has been properly introduced to our next vice president.”
Isn’t it nice when a plan comes together?
D’oh!
Yep, you betcha. One of them is a former NARAL employee. The other one participated in a “pro choice” rally here in DC a couple of years ago and forever had a NARAL water bottle sitting on her desk. Blech . . . .
Sarah Palin = Principle, charisma and substance!
