If she didn't have the decency to quietly terminate her disabled son and politically embarrassing grandchild-to-be, could she have AT LEAST rose this far on the marital coattails of a philandering Chief Executive?

If a conservative women runs for office and asserts her beliefs a la Sarah Palin, the feminists will try to run her over.

Because Gov. Palin is not a liberal. Simple as that.

Gloria Steinem lost all credibility ten years ago when she defended Bill Clinton by arguing that it’s okay for men to grope women as long as they stop when the women asks them to stop. Oh, one caveat—this one free grope policy applies only if the perp is pro-choice.

Read Ann Coulter’s segment on Steinem in one of her books. The woman has essentially accomplished nothing in her life. Compare her to Phyllis Schlafly and other women who have done so much more in the face of adversity and Steinem is almost laughable.

Exactly! I never thought of it that way. I'm pretty sure Gloria didn't intend this as a compliment, but there aren't a lot of higher ones she could have given.
