I am starting to hear rumblings that Biden has “personal issues” that have to be dealt with. There is no word on what these issues might be – but it might require more attention than he can now give to these “issues”
People familiar with this situation are beginning to speculate that Joe Biden might withdraw from the Democratic ticket as early as the middle of next week.
Hillary insiders have indicated that Hillary is available to step into the vacant slot “for the good of the party.” There are trial balloons already being floated to party officials suggesting possible scenarios on how this might happen without embarrassing Barak Obama, but it is too early to tell what kind of effect a Obama / Hillary ticket might have on the base of the Democratic Party. Very early indications are that a Obama / Hillary ticket would be well received
Look in the coming days…. Possibly Friday evening…. For serious questions about Bidens ability to serve as VP.
So, will they be switching whose on top of the ticket, as well?
I have no knowledge of that, but I do have a firsthand source for LBJ’s drunken escapades on the USS Sequoia, the Presidential yacht on the Potomac. I knew the skipper who said that LBJ would finish a bottle of booze on a trip and that everyone could go to the other side of the yacht when LBJ was coming. LBJ was foul-mouthed and abusive. Unlike LBJ, he said Nixon was considerate and personable.
I guess “the unqualified hockey mom” has them pretty nervous!

As a recovering alcoholic myself (seven years sober!), I have been wondering about this for quite some time. The guy has all of the earmarks of someone who over-imbibes. Anyone on FR have any info on this?
It’s looking like this might be a laugher of an election. They always say voters don’t start paying attention until after Labor Day, and I just don’t think the Dems can get themselves out of this one now.
Makes Rudy (’get it in writing’) and the whole campaign brain trust—did a speaker last night even make reference to Biden?—look like they really are on top of things.
It would diminish (if that’s even possible) Hillary if she were to accept such a deal. She doesn’t want to be a vice president - she’s already done that.

Hillary will accept because she does not want to have to take on a strong woman Republican in 2012. Sarah may be the 2012 nominee if McCain stops at one term.

Look for a sudden, unspecified medical condition that Obama couldn’t have known about at the time of his decision. One that will never be disclosed.
I don’t care how many people pooh-pooh this story... I’ve been expecting it since the day after McCain picked Palin. Not only do I think it’s going to happen, I think Obama has no choice at this point. If Biden stays on, he’s going to be devoured by Palin.
These people will do anything to win power. Dumping Plugs Biden is a no-brainer.
I’ve seen two youtube clips where he sure looked tipsy to me—and one was an afternoon campaign appearance last week. But of course that would just be the excuse (whispered or spoken out loud) to dump the ‘doofus’, was it, as Rove referred to him.
However, you can send it to the National Enquirer and the rest of the MSM. I believe this is above their recently revised threshold. ;)

Watch the video at this site. I cannot say 100% for sure that it is Biden because no one ever came up with a source. But if isn’t him, the man is his twin. WARNING: It took me three days to get that stupid song out of my head.
It’s not that I doubt Biden has issues. I just think we’re better off with definitive sources.
I agree with you! There is no way this is happening. Michelle hates Hil and Bill would be a problem...no way. I think this is a distraction or scare tactic. Let’s see some substance.......
