Maybe 3rd Marquess of Salisbury in high heels but with the build more of an American actress from One Million Years B.C.. It will take a while to sort out the Reagan vector and wider conservative impact.

Reagan in High Heels"

When the New York Post prints that phrase on the front page I hope you will all remember (and remind your friends) that it came from RadioFree New Jersey, a blog run by a longtime Freeper.

To be truthful, I never thought I would be able to vote for a woman for President or Vice President.

The women in politics so far have been either so far left they are almost far right or old and butt ugly whiners.

In order to be considered a “serious female politician” in the driveby media, you must be Pro Abortion, Pro Homosexuals, anti war, and pro welfare. You must have been a victim of sexism and at least in public appear to hate men. The Democrats need to hang out a sign “Only victims who happen to be women” need apply. They parade them out when needed and push them back into the kitchen the rest of the time.

I never thought that there would be a woman able to speak to transend gender. Either she would be embraced by women and tolerated at best by the men or the other way around.
I mean men and women see things differently.

I never thought there would be a woman running for office that embodied femininity without itimidating men and making women feel that she is a threat.

You have to admit, they are few and far between. It is difficult for a woman to portray strength while not seeming to be shrill and whiny.

You could see it on the pundits faces last night especially the women. Gee I wish she believed in big government fewer freedoms killing babies and letting lesbians and Gays adopt children and get married.
She is such and easy sell to the public.

You really have to work at selling Obama and Michelle. They come across as angry, bitter little elitists that cling to their what? arugala - mansions - Marxism.

Hey. We’re not all the same!
I was very uncomfortable with comparisons to Reagan, Thatcher, etc.
I require proof. Performance. And Reagan and Thatcher became great partly by the history that confronted them; the hero’s billowing cape is powered by the winds of fortune.
However. Sarah Palin just performed, and it’s obvious that she’s a natural, a speaker at least as talented as Ronald Reagan.
There was much more to Reagan than speaking talent. There may well be more to Palin. I hope so.
In the meantime, it’s extremely encouraging. There are 61 days left and evil forces have hardly begun their campaign to take her down. She needs to be scoring triumphs every day for the next two months.
That now appears possible. :)

(Another good thing now appearing possible: when McCain wins, it now looks like he just might NOT put his veep on the sidelines. She’s a star now, and he needs that star power; but after that, the presidency needs a backup, not a trophy on the shelf. This woman could be spending a lot of time in the White House, and that’s a good thing!)

“i have no more to add than geo. wallace’s own campaign brochure”

That’s just his word. Can’t really trust rhetoric can we.

Bonjour! Overall good! His heart’s in the right place on fundamental issues - reforming the country, unity of the West, war on terror.
