I am too. If it is true though then “We had marital difficulties, we worked on them and are now enjoying a close, loving marriage” might be enough.

Byron York’s reposted some good stuff he’s done on the NE over at the National Review. His main point is that they mix both false heavy innuendo from some of their stories (W and Laura getting divorced, W back on the sauce) with stories that have real factual reporting (e.g., the Edwards mess).

I am kinda worried. This isn't exactly a ringing endorsement of their story. The words "incredible charge" don't exactly inspire confidence, nor do you see any language about "sticking by our story".
