"The National Enquirer's coverage of a vicious war within Sarah Palin's extended family includes several newsworthy revelations, including the resulting incredible charge of an affair plus details of family strife when the Governor's daughter revealed her pregnancy. Following our John Edwards' exclusives, our political reporting has obviously proven to be more detail-oriented than the McCain campaign's vetting process. Despite the McCain camp's attempts to control press coverage they find unfavorable, The Enquirer will continue to pursue news on both sides of the political spectrum."
I am afraid you are right. One or more in-laws are apparently an Obama supporters. The press and the Democrats will not let up until this woman and her family are destroyed. McCain will undergo the same savage attack (senile, cancer prone, POW coward, the attacks have already begun). To paraphrase Mischelle Obama, the MSM and the "progressives" do nothing to make me a proud American.
Roger Altman....??? Wow, I never knew that.
If they admit the charge is not credible, why do they publish it?
I am just waiting for the drunken doofus Biden to drop out and put that old harridan Hildebeast on the ticket.
Hang on, we are in for a wild ride.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
But it is the ‘seriesness’ of the charge that makes it so hugh!
If the enquirer is so determined to speak to everyone in this small town - especially Sarah’s enemies, why are they not poking around Chicago and doing the same with Obama?
What?
Isn’t there ANYONE in Obama’s past who could tell us anything interesting?
Did I miss the Enquirer’s articles about Obama’s ties to the terrorist David Ayers?
The problem is, they will probably dress up Anita Hill’s brother, who will declare, “I slept with her”.
Lies, lies, and damn lies. If they can’t find the dirt, they are not above inventing “their truth”.
You and I agree on this one. You have got it down pat.
“I am kinda worried.”

Newbies are like that, yeah, they are.
Especially if it’s stuning!
I could care less about the issue myself, am too big a sinner to be casting any stones, I’m with McCain/Palin, period, end of discussion, and I’m hoping to vote for Palin for president in 2012 (I figure McCain as a one-termer, because of age). Would you not agree though ... indulge me in devil’s advocacy, LOL! ... that if there SHOULD turn out to be fire amid the Enquirer’s smoke, the political reality is that the situation would need to be handled proactively, but carefully, to defuse it?
Don’t be dim. Everyone knew about this story and held back. The Enquirer has never been credible ever. They have an agenda.
Gee, I wonder how long you will last.
Yeah I must be a troll blah blah blah. You guys are very original and welcoming. Try reading my other posts before you light up the stake.
“Read on another thread that the NE source was an enemy of Palin. Hope Sarah sues! We all know why Edwards didnt sue. He knew they had the goods on him.”
I wonder if it’s the same gal who said Sarah wasn’t ready to be VP and said “look at what she’s done to our state!”
But she didn’t explain “what” Sarah had done to the state.
And I’m left puzzled because it sounds like Alaska has been improved under her administration. Highest approval ratings in the nation.
Sarah must have stepped on quite a few toes.
So the twin bottom lines is that they had nothing and wanted to sell their tabloids.
Ask me what happens when the Enquirer gets it wrong!
