Mayor of Key West on with Geraldo NOW .. talking about
starting evacuations tomorrow at 5am. Residents of Key West next at 9am. Intent is for full evacuation.

WFTV says all the models take it west and also since Hanna is gone, the bermuda high is creeping back west over Florida. This will help us, except for the front in TX. If it gets stronger, it will have potential to move the storm our direction.

I just wanted to let those from the Gustav thread know that the baby and I are now back home. We left last Saturday for Palacios, Texas and stayed with my uncle. We had a nice time there, it is a nice little town along the bay. I hate to hear about Ike now, but am prepared to leave again if he heads for Louisiana. I will take a nice little trip to Red Rock State Park in New Mexico. My husband called from Iraq and was so happy that we had left, said it was better to be safe than sorry. I am grateful for all the messages to me on the Gustav thread, I didn’t feel so alone anymore.
