I have noted several internet postings about Michael Steele's comment on Fox today to the effect that the DNC is circulating a memo outlining an agenda to force Palin to quit.
There is no information on the Fox News website regarding this (so what else is new).
Please feel free to post all information and opinions on this turn of events.
(BTW, the pinkflamingos website is "experiencing technical difficulties.")

A few moments ago on FOX, Michael Steele alleged that there is a coordinated effort by the DNC and major Democratic operatives to tarnish the image of Sarah Palin to the point where by this time next week, she is forced to withdraw.
and Mike Savage is complicit

That is such a great illustration!
Wish I could get a poster of it.
Remember, folks, Hillary lost the Dim-o-crat nomination because she was not radical enough!
Talk about overplaying their hand.

I believe it was M. Steele’s SSN that the DNCC gained access to.

Mike Savage is complicit? Did he say this?

Well, Obama DID say his main claim to executive experience was running his campaign. I would say he tied himself to this.
And, Libs, strangely enough with all of our differences and bitterness there has never been more unity among Republican and conservatives then right now in defense of Sarah palin and her family. I don’t see her leaving this ticket at all. But I do see the American people spitting you out.

I heard a little bit of Mike Savage last night on the radio. He needs to shut his trap.

Mike Savage is complicit? Did he say this? Last night he was saying republicans need to flood McCain with demands to have her withdraw her nomination. He was bitterly hateful and sounded like the screaming liberals.

Thanks for the info. I'm really looking for better sources on this, and I have seen confirmation of Steele's statement here on FR.
Apparently, this is too hot for the MSM.

To heck with the elephant. I don’t care what way they lean politically....this is an outraged “Momma” thing.
To: GVnana
Of course they're trying to force her to withdraw. Obama has used that tactic before. (Jack Ryan 2004.) However, Ryan withdrew immediately, never awaiting the reaction from his overwhelming majority of supporters. The DNC is underestimating the fighter in Sarah Palin, and she has a feisty John McCain to encourage her. We need to make sure the GOP leadership stays behind her 100%, just as we will.
