Harassing them, making them uncomfortable, pleases me.
Let this be a warning about the dangers of letting Stevie Wonder pick your socks...
I talked to individuals at all of our local Downs Syndrome chapters and offices as well as the one for the state in Austin, gave them the info re the magazine and asked if they would issue a statement. Don’t know if we will ever know whether they do or not but they certainly all listened and appeared to have taken down info.
Do we know the 5 largest advertisers for the benefit of those of us who don’t buy any magazines - including this trash?
Good for you, Grams!
i am hoping someone here will steal a copy of this rag and let us know......i tried on line and cannot get to any advertisments...
I voted atleast 100 times in that poll.
I have AFN News which does two-hour rotations between Fox, MSNBC abd CNN throughout the day. When I got "home" from work, I flicked on the news and it was (barf!) MSNBC's shift. That evil Andrea Mitchell was interviewing a variety of people and none of them mentioned Bristol's pregnancy. They've gone back to the "We don't know much about her... what we do know is negative...she doesn't seem to have much experience... she's really not a reformer....she was in favor of the Bridge to Nowhere..." and on and on and on.
So, they're still going very negative on her, but they seem to have backed off of the pregnancy for the time being.
Now, AFN is showing Fox, but it's Shep Smith, so not much improvement. ;-)
LOL. Shep Smith is definitely not an improvement. Thanks for the update. Can’t wait for tonight!

Good, should drive up the ratings for Palin’s speech.
Note to the mag’s advertisers: You might want to rethink your future ad buys...
Or maybe a "few" FReepers should contact the advertisers and advise why it's inconvenient for us to buy their products anytime soon.
It'll be on around 4 a.m. where I am. I am SERIOUSLY considering setting the alarm to watch it live before going to work.
I caught a lot of snippets of Lieberman's speech today, but I'd like to see Sarah's in its entirety. I have a feeling she's going to put the smackdown on her nasty, leftist critics and I think she'll do it with class.
I’ve got a copy..sorry to admit liking to read a bit of fluff, and now it’s come in handy..
Ads for:
Sprint; Nintendo;Wrigley’s gum, Neutogena, ABC, HBO,
Bud Light,Walmart,State Farm,Lady Foot locker, on the back cover something called FAGE yogurt..
Oh, by the way, I’ll stick to reading my fluff online, no more US for me..
Yep and watch all of their subscribers cancel as the women get angrier at what they see happening to one of their own! The media should be very afraid!
Wow I haven’t seen a pair of socks like that since 1973!Wonder if they have “toes”, you know individual ones like gloves in them? LOL
ABSOLUTELY! This has been a classic rope-a-dope because McCain knows (and his advisers) that liberals will become apoplectic at the drop of a hat with the nomination of a female with measurable achievements and executive experience that outshines both of the Dem nominees. The real lose-lose is the "professionals" - big media, Dem pols - that have shown that the rules to be applied to Dems don't apply to Republicans. Any voter with any semblence of fairness can not help but notice.
Thanks US Magazine!
