Concerns Raised about Palin and PMS

September 3, 2008

As McCain's choice of Sarah Palin for vice president continues to be engulfed in controversy, new questions have been raised about her fitness for office. “The fact that Sarah Palin has just given birth, shows that she is still menstruating,” explained noted feminist author Nola Wright. “Because of that, once of month she will suffer cramping, mood swings, and adopt a temperament that may be unsuitable for public office.” “There’s indeed a reason for concern, “ said Dr. Karen Karlson of Seattle, Washington. “’That Time of the Month’ is a difficult time for many women and I would expect it to be no different for Mrs. Palin”.

“I know I have problem functioning adequately “ said a female CEO of a noted software company. “And I can’t imagine risking the fate of the country ever few days of month when we don’t have to.” The issue has galvanized many of Hillary Clinton’s supporters who now say they will support Barack Obama. “We just can’t take the risk, “ explained one supporter. “We have to put the safety and security of our country first.”

The issue has reminded many of McGovern’s problem with his VP choice of Thomas Eagleton in 1972. When news had surfaced that Eagleton was taking shock treatments for a mental imbalance, Eagleton was forced from the ticket. “McCain is now confronting that same choice, “ pointed out a noted political strategist. “In many ways the Palin situation is worse. Eagleton’s condition was treatable, but there is no treatment for the aches, bloating, and temperment problems that Sarah Palin suffers from on a monthly basis. While there are drugs and medications that Palin can take to ease her condition, it’s not a cure. “I also worry about drugs possibly being addicting, “ noted Dr. Karlson.

“I think this calls into question McCain’s judgement as well”, pointed out political columnist Maureen Taylor. “Did they properly vet Palin before picking her? Did they understand that for several days per month she is physically incapable of occupying any position of authority? These are answers that the McCain campaign owes the American people.”

Palin’s defenders point out that she is 44 and is moving out of her child-bearing years, but others still profess their doubts. “She may be moving out of her child-bearing years, but she is also moving into menopause, “ replied Dr. Karlson, “and for many women menopause is more debilitating than PMS. I think concerns have to be raised about her fitness for high office for many years to come.”

No “hormonal” men in office, either.

Who is raising these concerns?

What are they smoking, what kind of pills are they popping, what are they drinking to cause them to make such retarded statements.

I’d rather have PMS at the helm than POS.

How dusgustingly desperate and hypocritcal of them. Never heard anything like this talked about when Hillary looked early on to be the presumptive candidate...and if anyone had mentioned something like this the MSM would have hounded them into obscurity.

The more the MSM and other DNC pundits instigate these tactics against the Palin's, the more the public will be made aware of them, check them out for themselves, and then be drawn to the Palin's side.

...and the worse and worse it will reflect on the instigators who are digging their own political graves.

Plus men always have a hormone problem.

That is an excellent point. I had never thought of it in that way.

Uh, people relax and check to topic tags (hint: notice the humor tag.)

Still, it's not far off from the truth isn't it?

And I mean with respect to the Dems and the Feminists, not with respect to the excellent Mrs. Palin.

And FReepers need to watch the trashy comments - especially with the F-word. We do not need gutter vulgarity to make points. Yes?

OMG!!! They're RIGHT!!!

Immediately, every woman should be removed from any position of power across the WORLD!

Don't let the fly the plane, don't let them drive the bus, even. Revoke their driver's licenses!

My G_D! The HORROR!

(/sarc)

No two women respond to PMS the same, and many I have known show none of the massive signs these people are braying about.

Just because some of them become raving nutters for a week a month (they're Dems, how could you tell?) is no reason to project their problems on someone else.

As I told John Semmens (of azconservative) yesterday - it’s becoming impossible to satirize liberals these days because they are even crazier than you think you can imagine them being. They are so far gone around the bend (and so vocal in their insanity) that one can realistically imagine them saying just about anything without fear of men with nets coming to take them away to the happy home of suits with arms that tie in the back.
