I had actually read his statement before I saw a video clip of him making it. Believe me, it sounded much more plausible written down than him actually making it. I took nothing in his demeanor to indicate there was any conviction in his statement...none whatsoever!

On a separate note, DH and I can't help but wonder why in the H E double-L hasn't Hillary Clinton come out with a statement denouncing all these rabid attacks by the MSM on the Palin family....when she would have ripped anybody's head off if she could have for making the same sort of attacks on her family. Such hypocrisy knows no bounds!

I think Hillary should have said something, too. Except possibly she doesn’t want to be perceived as having any involvement in or influence over Obama. I think this is going to come back to bite the Dems badly and Hillary is pretty good at distancing herself from situations like that.
