Sure, whatever. Isn’t it funny I never commented negatively on him until now.
I’ve listened to Savage for years and often didn’t like what he had to say, but now he has lost me forever. I’ll never listen to him again. He’s pathetic.

C'mon DC, I'm talking about all things being equal, and her qualifications to be the VP AND possible CIC if something were to happen to McCain, Savage has no problem with 'some' of her conservative positions, of course I haven't heard too may of them yet other than she took on the good ol' Republican boys and she's out to break the male glass ceiling as a woman, wow how conservative, yes, she hunts Moose, is a hockey mom, whatever that means, but weren't there others with conservative credentials with just a wee bit more experience in their resume that could've been chosen?
Exciting the base? That makes her qualified? So a weaker ticket beats an even weaker ticket, hmmm, Savage says Obama leads McCain-Palin 50-42, some excitement so far...........
To: whatisthetruth
McCain sure wasn’t exciting the base.
Maybe myself and others are desperate for an actual conservative to be on a ‘pub ticket anymore!

she hunts Moose, is a hockey mom, whatever that means...
She's also the governor of a significant state, with a conservative track record, a sound grasp of energy policy, and seems quite intelligent and capable. Those things you mentioned above are merely manifestations of her private character. Far more impressive than going from some cutthroat law firm or lobbying group to years of performing political favors in smokey back rooms in Washington DC. But hey, that's just me.
To: dynachrome
Conservative activists are excited, FR junkies are excited, some evangelical leaders are excited, does that mean the ticket is a strong one? So do we now encourage all our mothers and wives to go out and run for office because they now excite the population? Seems like ‘traditional values’ are no longer valued as very important in the new McCain-led GOP.
To: eekitsagreek
I hope everyone is doing well. I am here at the computer lab at school so I will be in and out. Savage is still pretty upset isnt he? Yep....LOL! And he's upsetting a lot of us too!

Sarah Palin could be the energizing force to reinvigorate the party that Ronald Reagan "founded".
Don't tear down someone who is a citizen-based leader. Ignore her looks, if you can't see past them.
I see the horizon with HER on it, not John McCain, or at least leading the charge toward whoever it may be.

I think her few years as Mayor and Governor trumps McCain’s experience in the Senate. Quite frankly, I think the ticket is upside down.
I also think that Savage is crazy for thinking that Romney is a stable, conservative alternative for VP.

I think it was a good pick. The way the ‘pub party has been the last few years, having an actual conservative on the ticket is a big plus.

Me either. I was stunned that anyone would consider her a Republican VP choice. She wasn’t on any list I ever saw.
