Obama’s camp has a new talking point claiming that Sarah Palin’s experience consists of being mayor of a town of 9,000 (they conveniently skip over her current job as Governor of a state).
Rose of Q&R pointed out this morning that Joe Biden only got 9,000 votes in the Democrat primary, vs. Hillary’s 18 million.

Rush reading from Obama’s book, “Dreams of my Father” where he tells us what he was doing at age 17. Let them compare Obama at 17 to Palin’s daughter at 17.
I see it like this. Palin told McCain about Bristol’s pregnancy but said that she is so young and being picked like this for the Veep slot was so sudden that announcing the pregnancy on the first introduction to America might be too much for the girl.
It was only two days later that the liberal blogosphere went nuts over thinking Trig was secretly Bristol’s child, and that the Governor had faked her own pregnancy.
So they were forced to announce Bristol’s current pregnancy in order to dispel those other rumors. Poor Bristol did not get even a week of peace before her pregnancy had to be announced to the entire world.
I heard that over the weekend somewhere. It’s a good one.
Being a two time mayor of any town and being elected president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors has more gravitas than Joe Biden will ever know.
