Palin is privy to military and intelligence secrets that are vital to the entire country's defense. Given Alaska's proximity to Russia, she may have security clearances we don't even know about.
...and someting no doubt the Senior Senator from Arizona took into account...
In the Russia Melieu, she may have as much knowledge of what is happening today in the Russia melieu as Sen McCain himself.

I am too, I do think the daughter is embarrased, but also worried about her actions effect on her mom's chances to make history.

I read this a few days ago on NRO about Governor Palin's foreign policy experience.

Excellent! Thanks for posting it. After the libs get tired of attacking Sarah Palin about her daughter, and try to return to attacking her for having "no foreign policy experience", this article will provide the perfect response!

This is what I wrote to Rush today:

Rush,

I want to tell you what the Palin pick has done for me. I have been a long time listener but have frankly not listened to you in a while because I have really been disappointed in the Republican Party and didn’t think conservatives had a say in this election.

When McCain picked Palin I was reinvigorated again and hopeful for the conservative cause. What McCain has done is wakened the sleeping giant, the “conservative base.” This is the Left’s worst nightmare. They know that history shows that when conservatives stay home or are not excited about a Presidential candidate, Democrats win.

Now since the media and the Dems have gone after Palin personally, they have not just awakened me but have made me mad. I want to now campaign for McCain. I would never have imagined this in 100 years a few months ago.

The media and Obama’s smear machine have awakened the sleeping giant (the conservative base) and Republicans win elections when this happens.

I hope the media keeps it up because they are giving the conservative base a reason to get active these next 60 days which are the most important in this election.

Keep up the great work. You are on fire!

Look, this is a live daily thread. You start a fight here, expect return fire, not just from denizens, but from hundreds or thousands of lurkers.

Now back to Palin and how we will use her, or she will use us, either one, to send Barack back to Hawaii or Indonesia or Chicago or whatever. Chill.

The libs/media are going to try to split social conservatives on this issue. We’re not falling for it and no one should.

No one should pass judgment on Bristol Palin. She’s doing the right thing now and I’ll bet that will a well-loved addition to the family.

I have a feeling that Sarah Palin is going to handle this very well.
