BTTT
I don’t know that Obama has the edge. Remember the states vote for president, not the people.
The difference between old and young:
A young bull and an old bull were walking along together and come to the top of a hill and see a bunch of cows grazing below. The young bull turns to the old bull and says, “Let’s run down there and have sex with a couple of those cows!”
The old bull says to him, “No, let’s WALK down the hill and have sex with ALL of them.”
It enrages the left that an “old man” like McCain can so easily out wit and out maneuver them.
Thanks for the Ping ~ good stuff, the guy nailed it!!
Don't forget the ammo, and let your neighbors know they have a place of safety if needed.
My neighbors are dyed-in-the-wool Democrats. Even they are scared of what will happen if NObama loses.
Thanks for the ping!
What kind of person supports abortion on demand and a candidate like Obama who voted for infanticide and jokes "God's on our side" when a hurricane is about to drive people from their homes? Who thinks God is on the side of pro-infanticide Obama?
Look at how they savage Sarah Palin.
These people aren't leaders.
IMHO, it's not ignored. It's being withheld for the last week of the campaign. The left will exhaust itself attacking Sarah Palin because she is such a threat. Then the independents and moderates will be asked to choose between the guy who was tortured by commies as a prisoner of war and Obama and his commie supporters. It will be the latest, and hopefully last, battle of Viet Nam.
Never forget!
With all due respect, that's nonsense. The popular conservative commentators will never really dig into the communist aspects of anything. They certainly didn't do it with John Kerry in 2004. They're both too afraid and too profoundly ignorant of the subject. Hannity, still, despite all the information available to him (David Horowitz and others), hasn't once referred to Bill Ayers or the Weather Underground as being communist revolutionaries. Yet that is exactly what they were, and in the case of Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn and Michael Klonsky, as individuals, still are.
Also, I can't recall EVER hearing a right-wing commentator on air telling their audience, in any significant level of detail, who the people are that run the so-called "anti-war" movement (today or historically). Laura Ingram, for example, has interviewed both Leslie Cagan and Sunsara Taylor. Cagan on her radio show around the time of the 2004 RNC Convention, when UFPJ led a 400,000-strong anti-GOP, "anti-war" protest, Taylor, a couple of years ago while subbing for Bill on the O'Reilly Factor. In both instances, she apparently didn't have a clue who they were. Never went anywhere near the matter of their radical, commie left ideologies and histories.
Leslie Cagan just happens to be the national coordinator for the largest "anti-war" coalition in the nation (United for Peace and Justice), while Sunsara Taylor is a leading spokesperson for the World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime organization/movement. She is also a regular author for the official RCP newspaper, 'Revolution'. And actually appeared on Hannity and Colmes once wearing a Revolutionary Communist Party Youth Brigade T-shirt! (Hannity, once again, had no clue) Cagan is a longtime supporter of communist causes and a devoted admirer of Fidel Castro. She also founded and chaired the org Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism. The CCDS is an old offshoot of Communist Party USA. The co-chair of UFPJ, Judith LeBlanc, is vice-chair of Communist Party USA. As for World Can't Wait, they are an established front movement for the Revolutionary Communist Party.
Fact: World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime is a Maoist-revolutionary movement organized by the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP). (scroll down the list that appears (after clicking link) to find the World Can't Wait organization --rwor.org is the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party):

I "think" these are things that the American people should know, as the "anti-war" left has had an enormous influence on public opinion, during the Vietnam War era and for every major conflict since, including today's.
Michael Barone: "He has three major vulnerabilities here as I see it. One is his 20-year relationship with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Polls suggest he has sustained some damage on this, and its not clear whether video clips of Wright saying God damn America will inflict more in the fall despite the candidates repudiation of those comments.
Another problem is Obamas relationship with the unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist bomber William Ayers. In an April debate, Obama portrayed Ayers as a casual acquaintance. But Ayers was co-founder of the $49 million Chicago Annenberg Challenge education program and Obama its chairman of the board. The Obama campaign has sued to take off the air ads highlighting the Ayers relationship and tried to intimidate a radio station for hosting a conservative who is examining the Annenberg documents in the Richard J. Daley Library.
Finally, there is Obamas 2003 vote against a bill, virtually identical as the Obama campaign admits, to one that passed the U.S. Senate 98-0, banning the killing of fetuses who have survived abortions."
There's no point in making hay about it now. The time for reminding them is the last week when the "moderates & independents" who will decides the election, but who don't care about politics, finally pay attention. Only political junkies are listening now.
Just waiting for the big KABOOM and the gunpowder face on Wylie (and then Dims)....hahahah! ;)
First of all, what does Jane Fonda have to do with it, other than the fact she too endorsed Obama? Based on what they hear in the media, few will automatically associate her with Obama's pal Bill Ayers' movement or with Rev Wright's Black Liberation Movement.
Second, it is far from 'obvious' to a whole bunch of people (young, new to politics, etc) that the people surrounding Obama are with the communist left. That they were and are still part of an international movement to overthrow capitalist systems everywhere. And I'm certain we have a lot of such people on this site (young and/or new to politics). We need to inform them as much as possible as to what is going on today as well as yesterday (the 60-70's communist-led "anti-war" movement).
Anyone looking at this forum should learn fairly quickly about Obama’s extreme left wing support.
I haven’t noticed Rush, Hannity, Levin or Ingraham pulling any punches. Hannity got Stephanopoulos to ask about Ayers in the April TV debate. Wright’s rants were played ad nauseum on WABC-AM radio in NYC.

From David Horowitz's FrontPageMag.com/DiscoverTheNetworks.org:
"FBI files from 1976, recently made public under the Freedom of Information Act, confirm the connections between Weatherman, Havana, and Moscow. Weatherman leaders like Mark Rudd traveled illegally to Havana in 1968 to engage in terrorist training. There, camps set up by Soviet KGB Colonel Vadim Kotchergine were educating Westerners both in Marxist philosophy and urban warfare."

Very sharp observation."Social justice" is the revenge of the psychologically oppressed against people who look happier and more satisfied with their lives.
Indeed. It's always been known that "social justice" wasn't justice, and indeed was something like its opposite. "Social justice" is revenge? That does indeed sound about right. On reflection, that one point by itself is worth a bookmark.
I think it explains people like the Obamas. They seem to have every possible advantage - education, wealth, desireable employment, charming children, an apparently happy marriage - but they are still “psychologically oppressed” and want to destroy the system that has provided these advantages and all the people who are not as angry as they are.
