Another unscripted moment for the Messiah?

Posted on 09/01/2008 7:47:55 PM PDT by scdown

The Messiah appeared on Anderson Cooper 360 this evening, and was asked about the response to Hurricane Gustav. When asked specifically whether he thought the Bush administration had learned its lessons from Katrina, he launched into a litany of his own "accomplishments" in this area, ignoring the actual question.

Did anyone else hear Him repeat the phrase, "...when I was a U.S. Senator..."?

Yep. He tried to take credit for putting plans into place.

It is my understanding that he was barely, if ever, a United States Senator.

Sorry, but I try to limit my forays into moonbattery with the occasional trip to visit the DUmmies and the KOmmies.

Can’t stand to watch the Commie News Network anymore.

Recent events have him so befuddled (after all, his historic day in the lime light didn't even last a full day before the Palin announcement wiped it off the news) that he has fogotten that he still is a US Senator...not that that fact ever had him act like one in any case.

HOW THE PALIN PICK TRUMPS OBAMA-BIDEN

“...when I was a U.S. Senator...”?

He was saying that huh?

What is he now? LOL

He really must be losing it.

Understand. :-) I regularly check out CNN, MSNBC, etc to see what they are reporting. I do this not for my own news gathering but to see what most people are hearing and seeing.

He lamely suggested that the apparent success of the efforts taken pre/post Gustavit was as a result of legislation that he "passed".

The part that I found most laughable was when Cooper asked Obama about some republicans saying that because of Palin's experience as mayor and governor, she was more prepared to deal with an event such as this hurricane.

Obama then compared Palin's experience as mayor with employees totaling 50 and a budget of 12 million annually to his campaign staff of 2500 and his budget of 36 million per day.

He said nothing about her as acting governor.

He's a weakling.

I didn’t hear it today, but that would not be the first time he has said it.

Figured you probably did.

So what did the “Annointed One” say? Besides, I mean, “Uh, uh, uhm, change, uh uhm, as I said before and will say again, uhm, uh, uh...”?

I suggest that whenever we refer to her, we say Governor Sarah Palin. Seems to me the dems will try to make everyone believe that her only accomplishment has been that of mayor.

Hell, if Obama had stood on Grand Isle, his ego would have diverted Gustav to Mexico!
