McCain should now take bold to a whole new level

I think McCain should take his bold move on choosing Palin to an unprecedented new level.

Screw a debate against Biden. Every sceptics concern is whether or not she’s capable of stepping into the presidency should something happen to him. Oh, and not to mention that she has yet to be compared to who she’s actually running against, Joe Biden, and has been constantly compared to Odumbo.

I think McCain should arrange a debate between Palin and Odumbo and put an end to the discussion once and for all.

The mere refusal to accept such a challenge would not look good for Odumbo.

Don’t know about it practically, but it is an intriguing idea. If they think she is so unqualified, let’s add one more debate - Palin vs. Obama - and let the people decide. Hmm...

I hope she debats no-one in this campaign.

There is nothing to gained from it.

I propose no Veep debates in 2008.

That’s what was being said about Palin getting the vp nod before she got it.

Obama's a wimp, so he'll never agree. He won't even do a town hall. McCain should do one on his own, and include a cardboard cut-out of the annointed one.

Also, McCain and Palin should start running against Obama/Pelosi, and forget Biden.

Obama already sees this constant comparison of him to the number 2 on the GOP ticket is not working for him. He would never go for this.

Ha! That's good.

I would like to see a free wheeling debate with McCain, Palin, Obama, and Biden all in one room. Get rid of the joint press conference formats that they use in “debates” and let them really debate. See who can think on their feet and come up with the counter points.

I think that Palin should challenge JoeBi to a series of contests....sort of a pentathalon:

1. a debate
2. target shooting
3 a 10K run
4. an IQ test
5. an evening wear competition.

Sarah sweeps all 5.

You missed my last point. Just the refusal of the offer to prove himself more qualified would not look good. It’s a win win.

It’ll happen right after the cage match with taped fists dipped in broken glass. Either one would be fine. /s

If they really wanted Obama to soil his pants, McCain could agree to that debate Obama so forcefully asked for during his coronation, then let Sarah’cuda show up to debate him instead.

I think what is needed is a debate without rules...no questions...just the FOUR of them on stage for 3 hrs in front of America. No moderators....just start talking and let it play out.

Well, you asked what we thought! (grin)

There's no way Obama would agree to a debate with Palin, and if McCain asked for one, I think he'd be laughed off the national stage by the MSM and the pundits.

I think he's better off continuing to press O for those joint town hall forums, and Palin's better off pressing Biden for more than one debate . . . maybe two additional ones, one in Alaska, and one in Delaware.

And I was an early-adopter of Palin, too . . .

Doesn’t matter whether it would or could happen. The mere suggestion packs a powerful punch, and on many different levels.

I think that EVERY time the Obambi campaign attacks Palin on the ground of experience, the response should be:

1. Excuse me, why is Obambi wanting to focus on running against Palin rather than against McCain? Hmmm?

and,

2. Okay, if Palin’s experience to be PRESIDENT is so important, let’s set up a debate between her and Obambi so the American people can judge their records and abilities side-by-side. Okay? Hmm?

Only after they'd peed their pants.

This isn't about actualing debating. Just suggesting it says a whole lot with a very little.
