I think a large hunk of the Democratic party has just defected. They were never really part of the Loony Left, but they just hung in there because they identified themselves as lifelong Democrats. When faced with the choice of Hillery or Obama, they chose Hillary because she was the more moderate choice. Lots of Democrats will rally around a “woman's rights” theme, even if they are not overly excited about socialism, the so called “right” to an abortion, or homosexual marriage.

For these people, it's as easy for them to defect to the McCain camp. We saw the same thing happen in the past with the "Regan democrats."

Time Magazine editors have been on the Hillery side for a long time.

They do not necessarily subscribe to Obamacide for print media.

I am glad they have taken this line.

Maybe there will be someone left in the Dem party after the Obama Fog dissipates, and Howard Dean is shown the door.

I’m sitting here with a blurry screen, and I keep checking the source. It’s got to be some kind of mistake, isn’t it? Time? A nice, sympathetic, MYOB article about a conservative in TIME!?!?
