This should give Palin a little bounce with the Nascar crowd:

Bristol is pregnant now

Keating Holland explains that there were two bounces — or maybe none: The convention, and particularly Obama’s speech, seems to be well-received. And the selection of Sarah Palin as the GOP running mate also seems to be well-received. So why is the race still a virtual tie? Probably because the two events created equal and opposite bounces assuming that either one created a bounce at all.

I think you would have to have an advanced degree in economics or political science to understand that comment, let alone write it. I look forward to the first time joe Biden uses it and says he wrote it.

In Monroe, Mich., Democrat Obama condemned rumors involving the children of candidates and echoed the McCain campaign argument. He said, "I think people's families are off limits, and people's children are especially off limits."
"Our people were not involved in any way in this, and they will not be," he said. "And if I ever thought that there was somebody in my campaign that was involved in something like that, they'd be fired."

I read on a different thread that on the KOS blog, the person who was pushing the original rumor of Bristol being the real mother of Trig, is someone who claimed to be part of Obama's campaign. Let's see if anyone actually gets fired over this. I, for one, won't be holding my breath. But if this is true, it would be nice to be able to connect his campaign to this, so that folks can know just how despicable this man truly is, in his Chicago way of politics.
