So, what you’re saying is that McCain should have chosen someone not as good as Palin because of this? Somehow that doesn’t seem “Country First” to me.

I don’t know if Palin was the best choice. I do think that her being a woman played into why she was picked.

I think there were other equally good candidates (some that I think would have been better) that didn’t have as many problems that Palin brings to the ticket. Palin has the trouble with the state trooper following her around and now the issue with her daughter.

I’m not saying Palin is doing anything wrong. I just know other people do not have this issues attached to them.
