I don’t know if Palin was the best choice. I do think that her being a woman played into why she was picked.

I think there were other equally good candidates (some that I think would have been better) that didn’t have as many problems that Palin brings to the ticket. Palin has the trouble with the state trooper following her around and now the issue with her daughter.

I’m not saying Palin is doing anything wrong. I just know other people do not have this issues attached to them.

Who would you have chosen that doesn't have “issues”? I say we need to support Palin and her family. Where I live we have a Baptist Maternity Home. A group of young girls from my church went there to bring them gifts for their unborn babies. I remember sitting around listening to their stories (parents kicked them out, etc.) and us just loving them and feeling the incredible presence of Jesus. Unconditional love is what Jesus is all about. I think we should be praying for the family and wishing them the best. They are human, just like the rest of us. I will not cast the first stone as my children have done many things I am not proud of but I love them with all of my heart.

Ah, but my FReeper FRiend, that's the response that the libs and corrupt 'pubs want. It means that if they can concoct some type of "investigation" or "controversy" - even where there is none - and get it into the news, they can thwart the good and honest people who would stop them.

All it takes is a compliant mainstream media to cook up a controversy. It isn't a scandal if a 17 year old girl acts like a human, but ultimately in the end moral, 17 year old girl. To allow that to stop a good person like Palin from reaching elected office would be a tragedy.
