No, this is being played out just right and after four years as VP she will have a good shot at the Presidency.
I think John McCain has done a great service to the party and the nation.

I’d prefer she got a couple of years on the job training before taking charge. The world is a dangerous place and there’s a lot for her to learn in very little time.
