This is a follow-up thread to the earlier FR thread posted by Brytani Alan Colmes on Gov. Palin's Conservative Family Values. Here Colmes quotes one of his fans & tries to pin his woes on conservative bloggers (the new vast right wing conspiracy). He then jumps right back into the gutter by justifying everything he said in a post he had removed, saying he only removed it because of the comments. Here's the post in question, courtesy of WhistlingPasttheGraveyard who found it saved courtesy of wizbangblog:

How Hannity can repeatedly sit in a room with this worm without squashing him is beyond me.

It Colmes wants to talk about judgment, let's talk about the Obama family's membership in a clearly racist, clearly Marxist black liberation church for over twenty years. What's that say about the chosen one's judgment?

Who cares what he thinks. It’s Sarah and her husband and their family’s baby. It’s absolutely none of their business.

The nuts on the left know this was a great pick and are doing everything in their 38 year old - stuck in their parents’ basement blogging on the internets amidst a pile of twinkies wrappers - lives to try to diminish her.

For God's sake come over people. This was the last post addressed to me. They are now saying he went on the flight to intenally lose the baby.

I just don’t know Martha - I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough. I wouldn’t rule it out though, nor the possibility that rushing that flight without medical care was a last desperate attempt to lose the baby in an accidental and blame-free way (ie a ‘fundie abortion). I’d even accept the possibility that she’s just an airhead who didn’t give any thought to the consequences of her actions.

Whatever, I’d be willing to bet there are some anxious people at McCain HQ waiting for these rumours to be quashed.

I have my money on the mormon if and when the position becomes vacant again :)

So Colmes is part of the Obama/Axelrod smear machine driving this vicious rumor, eh?

Figures.

About Alan Colmes and his insanity: He is supposedly all for choice. In fact, choice trumps all. She could have had a late term abortion and Alan could have cared less - according to his ‘religion’ he would have celebrated her choice. It’s her body - her choice. EXCEPT if she decided she wanted to have the baby at home in Alaska. Now she is a bad mother. Now she has bad judgment. Now she exercised bad ‘choice’.

Alan can’t have it both ways: Either the mother is godlike and can decide if a child lives or dies, or she isn’t. Alan is one messed up individual. He can’t complain about her putting the life of the child in jeopardy, because he is willing to hand over to women the right to END the life of the child. Why is Alan in such a tizzy about her water breaking - he supports sucking the brains out of Downs Syndrome babies and throwing the bodies away!

Sickness disguised as compassion.

And let’s not forget the attacks on Michelle Obama and the insinuations that she doesn’t really love her country.

The attacks were valid. On two separate occasions she made the " the first time I was proud of my country" comments - and those comments were fair game. I wonder if Alan Colmes noticed her convention speech dealt with the subject. The speech was about how much and why she loved her county.

It was a great speech.

She knew the impression her original comments gave - and she corrected it.

I hadn’t seen this latest gutter attack on Palin. Disgusting.
These people just have no bottom they will not hesitate to stoop to.
I will send more money to McCain as a result.

If they want to talk bad judgment calls. Let’s just talk about Obama’s record on his bad judgment. He has made more bad judgment calls than he has made good ones, and they always seem to be on bad people who he has been involved with. Wright, Ayers, Farrakkan, Biden, Rezko, are a few that come to mind. They prove Obama’s very poor judgment, but of course, since it was Obama, it’s OK because he’s the media darling.

“If we are going to evaluate candidates based on life decisions: what churches they attend, what religions they practice, who their preachers are, who their friends are, all of which fall under the rubrick (sick) of ‘judgment’, then all of this is fair game”... Alan Colmes

Channeling your guru ‘Saul Alinsky’ are we?

http://sweetness-light.com/archive/hillary-clintons-idol-saul-alinsky-and-satan

From Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals:

RULE 4: ‘Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.’ If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.

Nice straw-man that in family matters conservatives must be perfect in every way.

No one is perfect, we know that.

There is a glaring difference between a momentary lapse in judgment and — deliberately — attending a racist church for 20 years.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1990117/posts

There is a fundamental difference between a momentary lapse in judgment and a long term choice.

It’s the difference between inadvertently running a red light Verses speeding on the freeway for 100 miles at 150 MPH!

Both actions can be dangerous, but one is a ‘mistake’ where the other is a WILLFUL violation.

Obama and his American hating buddies seem to fall into the ‘willful’ category, rather than the ‘I made a stupid mistake’ category.

That’s what makes thier actions particulary egregious.

someone in his neighborhood

Ha! Just some 'former terrorist' who served on committees with Obama and held Obama's first fund-raiser. Not, just 'someone in his neighborhood'. DUH! And Alan knows that!

It must be kinda of hard defending Obama by attacking a 17 year old with an engagement ring because her mother is running for Vice-President and voters love her.

I seem to remember Alan lecturing everyone on Chelsea Clinton being OFF LIMITS.

I have 9 kids, and my water never broke until about 5 minutes before delivery.

However, my daughter’s water broke and then she spent 48 very boring hours in the hospital before actual labor commenced.

After giving birth 4 times, Sarah Palin is more familiar with the process than Alan Colmes, who has not given birth even once.

“Yet, the same outraged protectors of our values have no trouble questioning Obama’s judgment: a nodding acquaintance with someone in his neighborhood”

“a nodding acquaintance” with William Ayers who helped launch Obama’s political career at his house?

You mean THAT ‘nodding’ acquaintance?

You ether:

(A)Believe your readers have a room temperature IQ.

(B)You are a dam lier and you know it!

(c) Both A and B above.

For obvious reasons choice C is the logical answer.
