Alan Colmes has been on a downward spiral for the ages since John McCain introduced Sarah Palin as his presumptive Vice-Presidential nominee.
Fellow NewsBuster Warner Todd Huston caught Colmes scraping bottom at his Liberaland web site last night, as the lefty talker and Sean Hannity piñata asked "Did Palin Take Proper Pre-Natal Care?" in connection with Palin's pregnancy and childbirth earlier this year. Trig Palin was born with Down's Syndrome on April 18.
whiff of sanity appears to have prevailed, as the entry is now empty. Also not present: an apology. (Update, 3:30 p.m. -- Here's Colmes's "apology." You can decide whether it's adequate or simply blame-shifting.)
But apparently Colmes has no problem with this entry he put up on Friday afternoon about the circumstances surrounding Todd and Sarah Palin's wedding (full entry follows; links were in original):

Really? He served in Vietnam? Wow, you would think a guy would mention something like that.
Is this what the far left wingnuts think conservatives will freak out over? That someone may have had sex outside of marriage? How stupid are these people? All they can do is imply that women are sluts for doing things that they’ve all done.
Can you imagine them saying something Palin’s husband if it were HIM running as Veep? They would never bother implying that HE may have had sex outside of marriage. Nope, it’s only women who are the big sluts.
I am independent who pretty much always votes republican. I would have voted democrat this election because I’m so fed up with the republican party’s fiscal liberalism of late. Then they gave me Obama, who I can NOT vote for because he’s even worse. And so arrogant and smug. Now that the democrats have started calling women stupid sluts and black people n-words and things like “black boy,” I will never, ever vote democrat. Ever. I might not vote republican forever, but I can guarantee I’m not ever voting for the racist, sexist rat party.

After watching her on CNBC discussing Alaskan oil, I pity hatchet man Biden. He'll be in a gunfight with a broken slingshot.
