Classless Alan Colmes: OMG, the Palins Eloped!

Alan Colmes has been on a downward spiral for the ages since John McCain introduced Sarah Palin as his presumptive Vice-Presidential nominee.

Fellow NewsBuster Warner Todd Huston caught Colmes scraping bottom at his Liberaland web site last night, as the lefty talker and Sean Hannity piñata asked "Did Palin Take Proper Pre-Natal Care?" in connection with Palin's pregnancy and childbirth earlier this year. Trig Palin was born with Down's Syndrome on April 18.

whiff of sanity appears to have prevailed, as the entry is now empty. Also not present: an apology. (Update, 3:30 p.m. -- Here's Colmes's "apology." You can decide whether it's adequate or simply blame-shifting.)

But apparently Colmes has no problem with this entry he put up on Friday afternoon about the circumstances surrounding Todd and Sarah Palin's wedding (full entry follows; links were in original):

No big surprise here. Colmes has been a liberal long enough that the mental illness is rearing it's ugly head. Add that to his ugly disposition, and he's a very miserable person on the inside. Liberalism is truly a mental illness. It causes liberals to whine, cry, have excessive wrinkles from frowning all the time, it gives them ulcers, and causes them to have heart attacks. It causes them to drool in fits of rage, and it causes them to lie, cheat, steal, and it makes them commit election fraud. It makes liberal women murder innocent babies. It makes them want to tax and spend, and it causes them to obsess over wanting to control people.

They frequently wet the bed, and that is why I call them "whiny-ass liberal bed-wetters." It has even given Crissy Matthews a woody over Obama. LOL! Obviously, Alan is in the end stages of mental illness. All one needs to do is look at him. He's lost weight, he's a nervous wreck and the ugliness from the inside has worked it's way to his face. Colmes is suggesting Palin was pregnant with her first child before she was married.

As if we would be shocked that two people in love had premarital sex and got pregnant? My response to Colmes, is "So what?"

My sister was born out of wedlock, my nephew was born 8 months after the wedding, so were a cousin or two or three (maybe, I have 14 aunts and uncles). And I found out a couple of years ago that my great-grandmother gave birth to my grandfather out of wedlock and we don't know who the father is. Yea, I'M SHOCKED! I tell you, SHOCKED! That Sarah might have been pregnant when she got married.

My grand parents eloped(no pregnancy) and didn't tell their parents until she graduated.

The first child was born 33 1/2 weeks into the marriage. Only an idiot (and Alan is an excellent example of one) would presume that such an infant could not have been conceived on the night of the wedding.

Having babies at the Guv’s age is a risk as something like one in twenty will have problem pregnancies, as she did. (according to my wife who is, of course, always right)

In our extended family we have several babies to wives in the same age range and all, but one turned out OK. We refer to them as “oops” pregnancies. The one was as the Guv’s April child - and as her’s, a beautiful child loved by all.
