“LOL! She has to remind the crowd every now and then it’s McCain on the top of the ticket and not her.”
I saw a yard sign that had Palin above the name McCain on it.

Am glad I have C-Span. I only wish Fox would talk politics instead of Gustav all day.

Huck and Mitt both gave short introductory speeches prior to McCain’s.

Yesterday, both MSNBC and CNN interrupted their hurricane hyping in order to give extensive coverage to an Obama/Biden rally while this one goes totally ignored.

I would like to hear more details. Were oil companies in AK somehow taking unfair advantage of consumers? What is their side of this story?
In any case if McCain and Palin don’t start with some rhetoric blaming the Dems and the enviro extremists for being a big part of our energy problems, some of my enthusiasm will wane, and I suspect others will feel the same way.

I saw a yard sign that had Palin above the name McCain on it. I hope McCain has the humility to get used to that because...well...he better get used to that...:)

That’s great. I was out and turned on the TV as Sarah was wrapping up so I didn’t hear them talk. I like that. Thanks.

this is the Teddy Roosevelt side again.
There is a case to be made because of the government-corporate collusion that corrupts companies. They beat the competition because of the special deals and breaks from their govt connections and not because they ‘made’ it in the free market.
That’s why we need a flat tax with no special credits or deductions.

Don’t worry, the McCain strategists and advisers have been on their A-game. I am guessing this is the standard VEEP introductory speach and it will stop during the convention. That is when we will see the Dem attacks begin.

From afar, my understanding is that they were buying off corrupt commissioners who were supposed to be regulating them, and Palin negotiated a better deal for Alaskans from them on the new pipeline, but someone who knows better can answer better.
To: ari-freedom
You’re right, and taking on that corporate-government complex is something that could win over moderates big time.
