When do we hear Obama promise these folks more than last time?
They're already priming the pump for the next hurricane welfare scam.
I have to wonder if “ Looter Man” was ever identified ? I can see it now, Looter Man sues to stop the use of his image without compensation.
Looks like maybe Mississippi will miss the worst. There's gonna a lot of fetch across the Mississippi Sound.
They won’t let him drink himself blind with Thunderbird and crap in his pants in the free shelters. It’s the same reason he isn’t sacking in a shelter in NOLA.
How many times are we going to rescue New Orleans?!
We are even furnishing them with animal carrycases to take their animals with them this time. I’m all for rescuing the animals too but shouldn’t they pay for SOMETHING themselves?!
There is transportation and shelter for all the people involved. If they won’t take it don’t worry about them. Its their call now.
Free buses???? Man we has free airplane evacuation!
Heard it on CNNi wit Nword Nagenerview.
That was not a racist comment, was it?
Are you serious? Free airplanes evacuation?
I heard some woman moaning this morning that she was a tourist in La. and the airline wouldn’t let her fly out for free since she had a ticket for next week. Guess she can seek gubmint help now.
Stay and Hope? Sounds like they took the advice of the nObama campaign and both are going to be hit by the Hurricane. One is galled Gustav and the other is called McCain/Palin.
Nagin has buses standing by.
I just noticed that “Looter Guy” has a Heineken bottle in his back pocket. Give him credit. He didn’t leave any bottles behind. LOL!
The City Assisted Evacuation Plan will be enacted at 8 a.m. today (Saturday, August 30, 2008). Citizens who need assistance evacuating from the city because of financial or other reasons should go to one of 17 pick-up points. They will be transported via RTA buses to the Union Passenger Terminal. Once they are checked in at the UPT, they will be evacuated by bus, train or plane. Each pick-up point has special signage.
...and free trains and airplanes. That guy could be smoking in Nashville instead of harm’s way. Broke in Nashville but safe would be preferable to being broke in a below sea-level city in the path of a cat 3 hurricane.
More perilious? I don't think that's a word. And as Katrina? Does Gustav cross-dress at night or something? Perhaps that would make him more perilious; I don't know.
No kidding. Government provided the buses - all they had to do was tear themselves away from the television to catch it. It isn’t like they couldn’t save a $1 a week since 2005 to escape.
Or maybe they are just attendees of that “non-traditional”, “alternate lifestyle” festival called Southern Decadence?
Of course many are staying. The last idiots who stayed got free housing and $2000 debit cards. Why not stay and be a victim of Republican racism again?
Surviving a hurricane tip #1:
Don’t spend your debit cards at strip joints.
Surviving a hurricane tip #2:
Find a CNN camera, push mayor nagin out of the way and start crying while blaming Bush.
Surviving a hurricane tip #3
If you’re planning on looting a WalMart, make sure that you car jack a full size pick up truck well before the storm (that way you’ll a way to move your 52 inch HDTV)
Surviving a hurricane tip #4
If you want some publicity, have your friends disassemble some wind up alarm clocks and then take the parts down to a levee. Then take a video of yourself finding the bomb components(those alarm clock parts) that George Bush’s CIA sent to NO to blow up the levees. Not only will Keith Olberman interview you on TV, you’ll appear before Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid’s hearings. And for a little drama you should make a crayon drawing of the WTC put the initials DC (Dick Cheney) in the lower right hand corner, and say you found some documents among the bomb parts that prove that 911 was an “inside job” of the Bush administration.
Surviving a hurrican tip #5
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO YOU TAKE OFF THE OBAMA T-SHIRT AND CAMPAIGN BUTTON.
