"Terrific. Just add Condi Rice as Secretary of State and they’ll have it ALL."

Why not save some communication/administration time and costs between State and Defense by making her Secretary of Defense? Switch Kim Gandy in as the presidential candidate, too, to avoid the waste of time in having candidates who suck up to her. Our business (lobby) and government leaders will learn some needed lessons sooner that way, instead of letting enemies build up so much in advance of their obvious plans to attack us.

[Little pro-family/anti-feminist irony and criticism there for those of you who can't see it.]

The MSM and Republicrats are afraid of Sarah Palin
because she is conservative and does not owe a debt
to any of the makers and shakers.

“Condi Rice as Secretary of State”
No Foggy Bottom person as SOS.

Give Bolton a chance to clean it out.

Not really.

They will probably want someone as Secretary Of State who could actually accomplish something other than helping Hezbollah rearm agaiinst Israel.

I figure that was the plan A pander to gain hillary voters. That was BEFORE the conservatives took hold and bypassed the OLD media.

We need to really understand, the ENERGY that has coalesced is not because of meida exposure, it is IN SPITE OF media exposure.

the State department needs a MAJOR PURGE of all the socialists in there.

As does every department and agency in the federal government, along with the lobbyists and lawyers around the beltway.

I would love to see Palin as VP take on a very active role from day one, cleaning out that rat's nest in DC.

Give Bolton carte blanche for a serious purge.

THAT would be sweet.

I would not say ALL lobbyists because they DO serve a purpose. People do not understand that when you have a lobyists representing a group with a common interest it can be a real benefit in communicating a position with clarity.

Conservatives now associating with the Republican Party view Sarah Palin positively, but multitude enemies surround her. McCain forces would grant her such selective influence as increase daily polling numbers. According to Republican elites the era of Ronald Reagan and William F. Buckley is over, so maintaining conservative credentials means fighting a political Cold War. Principled action demands extraordinary energy, cunning and allies to fight battles within the campaign as severe as any against the Democrats.

Sarah Palin can easily follow a similar downward road to Ike Eisenhower in relationships with political elites. When Republicans chose Ike, Harry Truman said they would eat him alive. Truman foretold Ike’s principle compromises, even as Republican leaders acknowledged Ike’s proven character was vital to reverse ever-diminishing Republican Party influence.

The first major principle abandonment came when Joe McCarthy denounced George Marshall as a Communist. General Marshall had promoted Eisenhower over hosts of more senior officers, and supported his assignment as commander of the D-Day invasion. Ike decreed McCarthy would not board his train in Wisconsin. Ike would also present a tribute to Marshall in Milwaukee. First aides through supposed miscommunication allowed McCarthy on the train. Political aides then not only dissuaded Ike from delivering the tribute, but also convinced him to appear with McCarthy in speeches. Eventually Ike would participate in political lies surrounding the U-2, completely stifling the character and principles of the man leading allied troops on D-Day.

Sarah Palin’s conservative stature requires overcoming McCain’s penchant for media, liberal approbation.

First aides through supposed miscommunication allowed McCarthy on the train.

And when McCarthy was ushered into Eisenhower's presence in a private car on the train, he greeted Eisenhower by saying, "Hey, Ike. Get any, lately?"
