The photos don't appear to depict substantive evidence of pregnancy (or lack thereof) in either Governor Palin or her daughter.

The best thing for Palin to do is to release her medical records (normal SOP for presidential and vice-presidential candidates) and lay this ridiculous distraction to rest.

I read some of the comments about the article. Many people thought he was wrong for trying to make something of her not looking pregnant. One person did post a link to this picture at alaskareport.com.
She looks a bit pregnant to me!

Palin should silence her critics once and for all by holding a live press conference, presenting a certified copy of Trig's birth certificate for examination by a neutral party (I'll suggest the Anchorage Daily News).

It would establish paternity. All three would be tested; the mother, father and child. It is for all intents and purposes 100% foolproof. Used to work in this field in my past life. The only exception I know of is in the case of identical twins. Then one has to use circumstantial data in addition to the DNA results to determine paternity.

If Sarah Palin were not the mother it would come back negative. She couldn’t be the mother.

As an aside it is possible to establish paternity using the DNA of the parents of a deceased father.
