"The party brand is in tatters," said the aide. "The president is highly unpopular. There doesn't seem to be much excitement around the candidate. And there's a real fear of being tagged with the Republican label and being seen with George Bush."

Wonder how long it took the MSM to find an anonymous aide to spew Democrat talking points?

LA does not have fish, so the LA Times serves no purpose as fishwrap. But LA has small lawns and lots of dogs, so we use the commie pinko paper for picking up after the dogs...a fitting end to sh*t in print.

We have found our Maggie Thatcher.

You know, I've seen people say we've found our Maggie Thatcher, or we've found the next Ronald Reagan. We've found our Sarah Palin. Isn't that good enough for you? Why project her into someone else?

It’s a once in a lifetime having the RNC convention in my own backyard and I am currently unemployed so I have the time, but I believe I will be watching from home where it is safe. I avoid MPLS like the plague in the best of times and an event of this magnitude will be attracting every moonbat for a thousand miles in every direction. It’s not fear, just common sense.

Ah, somebody else who sees the world as it is. My compliments.

Isn’t it funny that Bush’s popularity is supposed to keep people away from the convention? If unpopularity would do that, with Congress’ rating at such a low no one would have shown up at the DNC.

Fair enough.

The MSM shooting a floating body will be gold for the Obama campaign.

I think this time will be quite different. All the blowhards and daredevils who thought they'd "ride out" Katrina will have a much different perspective now. And Jindal will have made sure that there are enough buses to evacuate anyone who doesn't have a car.

By this time next week the story will be about the good job done by the young Republican governor, and how few lives were lost in the end.

Even though we love President Bush, his name is just poison to American voters right now.

Give me a friggin’ break. We aren’t that shallow. There’s a heck of a lot more substance to Palin than just being “ a purdy woman.”

And in case you had forgotten, it was Bush or sKerry. Thank God, it WASN’T Kerry...

I’m not thrilled with McCain but it’s Broken-Glass Time to keep the Marxist out!
