Alan Colmes (Sean Hannity's only-occasionally-rational libertard FNC co-host) has sunk to his lowest with this slimy innuendo about the birth of Sarah Palin's latest child.

Colmes chooses to leave out of his "account" that Palin's baby, although born slightly premature, was born healthy. (Gee, too bad, Alan.... if not, you could have - probably would have - argued that she should have had it aborted)

If Sean Hannity doesn't at least rip Alan a new one over this sleaze, then Hannity's not the person we think he is.

Alan Colmes: What a j***a**

I can’t believe that we are going to politicize the birth of Sarah’s baby.

What next — will we politicize the fact that Sarah is 44, and that older women such as herself are more likely to have risky pregnancies? Are we going to politicize whether she and her husband were actively trying to get pregnant? Are we going to politicize the fact that she and her husband consider each of their five children to be blessings, considering that the politically correct crowd believes in routinely aborting down’s syndrome babies?

Just how far into the gutter are they going to go?

Boy, it didn't take too long for the Libs to start trotting out the 'Experts', huh?

Hannity is a part of the problem.

He’s not a part of the solution.

Hey, Alan, stay out of a woman’s child birth (not just her bedroom)! Obviously, this is in the DEMS talking points they handed out to the jerk.

LANDSLIDE in the making and they are running scared.

All these men suddenly concerned about “women’s work”.

That CNN guy worried about how she would take care of her son and now Alan worried about safe practices during labor.

Leave women’s work to women, boys.

Hey, it’s the Party of Death’s theme...

They don’t give a sh*t about the person, so long as it makes them and the Party look good.

I hope they run with this nonsense, because it’s guaranteed to backfire.

After all, isn’t a woman free to choose what she does with her own body? Seems I’ve heard that somewhere before.

Actually, the latest at Daily Kos and DU is the notion that the baby is actually Palin’s granddaughter, and she’s been covering up the pregnancy of her teenage daughter. The leftists are all-a-twitter over this possibility.

Classy, aren’t they?

If they push this story (regardless of it’s veracity) they will find that this election will be a landslide of historic proportions. Oh please please please...

I never liked Horseface. The first time I saw him on TV, was when the anti-Condi cartoons came out that were extremely racist. He defended them and said he didn’t think they were racist. This was back when I was still a Democrat, but not for long because of comments like this from Democrats and Liberals.

Haven’t watched Hannity in a long time. Don’t care for shout-fests, but the main reason is that if the price of listening to Hannity is Colmes, the price is too high.
Actually, I don’t care for the “fair-and-balanced” format, which is really something of a conceit.

Their idea of “fair” is to have leftist nutjobs shouting down whoever they don’t agree with, and then Hannity gets to shout them down. It gets old. Hannity is OK, but the whole screaming Yin and Yang Punch and Judy thing has got to go. In my opinion.

How about a reasoned discussion among reasonable people? and if you can’t find any reasonable people to speak for Team Left, then that should tell you something. “Reason” doesn’t always cleave simply between Left and Right and I don’t have time or patience to listen to a debate between Reason and Absurdity just for the sake of balance.

My 4th baby was born in the car (didn’t quite make it to the hospital).

Maybe Palin and I both got a little relaxed about childbirth, after having several babies. . .

The woman had had four children before this one. She understands the way her body works, and was on the phone with her doctor. It’s no one’s business but hers.

By the way, there is a slight resemblance here to the old Teddy Roosevelt story where he was shot and then went on to deliver a speech.

Still, a Sacramento, Calif., obstetrician who is active in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, said when a pregnant woman’s water breaks, she should go right to the hospital because of the risk of infection. That’s true even if the amniotic fluid simply leaks out, said Dr. Laurie Gregg.

As a nurse that's worked in Labor and Delivery, this is very misleading statement. She doesn't need to go immediately. It does start the clock ticking towards infection, but if she gets there within 24 hours it shouldn't be a problem. Longer rupture doesn't necessarily mean she'll get an infection either. It is just a risk. In this instance, it sounds like her decision was fine if she wasn't at term and wasn't in labor.

I did not know that premature birth could cause a genetic problem.
