One of the best comments on the Flopping Aces blog Troopergate deep dive posting section was made here where someone who calls himself "Herr Morgenholz" said, and this is only part of the comment (with additional spacing added to make each point he made stand out a little better:) As for this “scandal”, know something about the vetting process. Republicans are far better at it.

In McCain’s team, somewhere in the background, is a crusty old fart. He’s an old line high dollar lawyer, former FBI or US Attorney’s Office, who went through this thing with a lice comb.

There’s nothing here, not because of what anybody else says, but because of what crusty old fart said. Believe it.

Yep, I just read an article about the vetting process McCain used and she was being looked at from the beginning. This is well vetted.

Remember this is a legislative inquiry so “the good ole boys” of Alaska may give her a clean bill of health next week, if it helps get her out of the state to DC. Then they can go back to their old ways perhaps?
