Ironically it was the Enquirer which broke the Senator John Edwards' tawdry sex scandal, and Money that exposed the T. Boone Pickens-Nancy Pelosi Wind farm connection.
...There are times when even the sleaziest of publications unearth much needed information the MSM would like to keep buried.
I know how you feel. I once read an article by this "journalist" woman who was given a national platform to vent her political frustrations with no details or investigation into the subject of her consternation. I found it really offensive to my abilities and sensibilities.
Obama voted PRESENT on many issues to avoid taking a public stand while in the Illinois legislature. Elected to the US senate 4 years ago he has only been in session 150 days. He is chairman of an important committee and has never called a meeting. Obama not only lacks EXECUTIVE experience he lacks the sense of responsibility to those who elected him.
Anything to put down Palin. Pray for her.
I rest my case.
Prior to working at BusinessWeek.com, she worked at The New York Post, Star Magazine, Variety
Quite a resume for a political commentator, and if you read the full Gawker link, she comes off as a pretty nasty piece of work.
Right. The other thing I’ve seen is attractive women get by-passed endlessly by less-attractive bosses who feel threatened.
That may be true. However, I would bet that it is a lot less common than attractive people being hired and promoted more often and making more money.
I wish people would leave the superficial judgments basing worthiness on appearance to the Dems. It makes me cringe every time someone on FR focuses on Sarah Palin's looks, implicitly dismissing her character and accomplishments as anything important. It is exactly the kind of behavior that leads outsiders to think that the Palin pick was a token gesture. Sarah Palin is much more than a pretty face.
