Suddenly appearing among the Google search results for sarah palin gay, a web site titled: Sarah Palin Supports Gay Rights.
Sarah Palin (GOV-Alaska-Republican), supports gay rights, says Anchorage Daily News.
Quote "Gov. Sarah Palin vetoed a bill Thursday that sought to block the state from giving public employee benefits such as health insurance to same-sex couples." Quote ""It is the Governors intention to work with the legislature and to give the people of Alaska an opportunity to express their wishes and intentions whether these benefits should continue," the statement from Palins administration said."
Coghill said hes interested in a new plan that would allow state employees to designate one person maybe a same-sex partner, but also possibly a family member or roommate who would be eligible for state-paid benefits. But the employee would have to pay to add that person to his or her benefits."
Sarah Palins veto gave gays the same rights as married couples in Alaska.
A vote for McCain/Palin is a vote for gay marriage.
Interesting. Theres nothing else on the page. This sure looks like the work of the dastardly right-wing anti-gay attack machine, doesnt it?
But look whos really behind this.
In the Linux console, if you enter the following commands, you can learn the secrets of a political dirty trick. First, look up the host of sarahpalingayrights.com to get the sites IP address.
host sarahpalingayrights.com sarahpalingayrights.com has address 74.208.74.232
Then use the same command to look up the domain name pointer of that IP address.
host 74.208.74.232 232.74.208.74.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer obamadefense.com
Well, well. Obamadefense.com, eh?
And what happens if you enter obamadefense.com on your browsers address line?
Why, youre redirected to none other than FightTheSmears.com, the official Barack Obama site thats supposed to be defending him against smears.
Looks like they may have a second purpose: to generate a few smears of their own.
(Hat tip: sk.)
UPDATE at 8/30/08 11:14:12 am:
Here's another site that traces back to obamadefense.com: ObamaTaxCut.com.
UPDATE at 8/30/08 11:24:46 am:
Two more web sites that share the IP address of obamadefense.com:
John McCain opposes the new GI Bill, but why? John McCain Prefers War
Political correctness doesn’t live here, Noob.
But is there a tie between the site and FightTheSmears other than a redirect, which any Obamanation sycophant could have done on their own site? Thus far it’s sorta interesting but has no meat.

Then don't use it
I don’t think it’s being PC to refrain from insulting people with Downs Syndrome but I’m not sure. Maybe we could ask Gov. Palin.
I believe that any american should be able to designate anyone else to receive their worldly goods in case of their demise, or to visit them in a hospital, or to have the power of attorney necessary to make decisions in their name.
That is not the same as being married.
That’s odd. The old term for downs syndrome children was mongoloid. Retard is the old word for retards. Still works for me.
After failing to shill for Romney, Doug Kemic is shilling for the Messiah. Perhaps, the Mittens will follow Kemic’s lead. The Mittens were disappointed that Mac picked an Evangelical over Romney.
I’ve been slumming about at the moonbat sites to observe their reactions. They are freaking out over the Palin selection. The ratio of Palin-to-Obama discussions must be around 9 to 1. Obama is all but ignored, one day after his historic acceptance speech.
Get this to Drudge.
Get this to Rush.
Bump the hell out of this !
“Sarah Palins veto gave gays the same rights as married couples in Alaska.”
Just curious - how does a veto give benefits if they didn’t have them to start with??
Oh Mark!! Check this out!
JimRob could have FR redirect to DU, if he wanted to. Obviously there's no connection, other than the intent of the redirector to increase pageviews for the redirectee.
Thanks. I like it even better if the new PC dictionaries think it is offensive.
Brilliant investigative report from LGF as always.
Lighten up
This isn't politicallycorrect.com ya spaz.
(no offense meant to spastics)
The term hurts people.

I have a very close friend whose daughter has Downs Syndrome and I know they find it hurtful, as do many others. Perhaps they are just overly sensitive about their children, though.
