On top of that, voters seem very inclined to elect Democrats in general this election — and very sick of the Bush years.

The rats sure beieve their own propaganda. Congress has a 9% approval rating and is up for grabs if the GOP takes advantage of the energy independence, Russia/Georgia, etc., issues. And Palin on the ticket will put McCain/Palin in the WH.

The ‘Rat’s first problem was when they decided about a year and a half ago that this election was in the bag for them. Dissatisfaction with Bush does not equate into running into the arms of the all-loving nanny state. Of course they still had a chance of winning, if they had tapped a moderate democrat with a little experience who could reach out to heartland voters, sure they could do it. Instead they go for a radical far-left neophyte who has nothing to offer other than a smooth voice and a past that we dare not ask to much about.
