There is no one he could have chosen that would have done more to motivate the GOP base. No one. I agree. As we so clearly found out during the primaries,,,,the GOP was desperate to find a new and exciting conservative face. That's part of the reason we ended up with McCain.
As a conservative who was NOT going to vote for McCain--Palin has changed my mind. I most certainly now WILL vote for McCain and encourage others to do the same.
She DOES electrify the base!!

They were talking this morning that she wasn't a replacement for Hillary, because she didn't have the same extensive foreign policy experience.
When and where did Hillary ever get/have any executive experience, let alone foreign policy experience?!!!
These people are so far in the tank for Obama that they've got to where a snorkel. This is going to back fire on them. Its rope a dope time baby.

I have been reading MSM analysis of the Palin pick all morning. They consistently say she solidifies the base of the party. That's it. Don't know how many women for Hillary or women Dems will be added. But up until now, the Republican support has been tepid, anti Marxist vote. Now the Repubs are enthused and excited and the Dems know that means crawling over broken glass voters.
The Dems are registering every warm body in all 50 states, attempting a Rove GOTV. So at this point, polls mean very little. Turnout is going to be everything. JMO

I could not agree more.
In a matter of 24 hours, I went from holding my nose and voting against Obama to enthusiastically voting for McCain/Palin. I am voting day one when early voting opens and every day after up until and if possible a few days after the election.

MSM is going nuts.
Rope-a-dope. The more they focus on Palin, the more they highlight that 0bama has 0 accomplishments.

I totally agree. The Dayton video was magic and brilliantly delivered.

Well if McCain contributions are any indication of McCain’s lost mind...he’s a evil genius. Something like $3m + in less than 6 hours after the announcement.

I have the McCain-PALIN yard sign on order.

Sounds to me like this commentator thinks attractive women are not up to the task. Of course not! You know they only believe liberal women are up to the task!

Obama’s shaking in his Ivy League loafers, hoping no reporter asks reformer Palin what she thinks of the multiple layers of corruption in the Chicago political machine.

She could be a home run choice or a strike out. Its too early to tell.I was just surfing some PUMA and HRC boards. It was not only a home fun, but the bases were loaded.
Obama could make McGovern look like a contender....

Any inkling of objective journalism has completely disappeared. CNN, CNBC, MSNBC and the major networks are openly and actively campaigning for Obama bin Biden. There isnt even a pretense of objectivity anymore If we thought we had seen the worst from the East Coast elitists, particularly the elite media, up to now, we are in for a shock. The war between the East Coast elites and the rest of the country is about to go from a cold war to a hot war.
