Even as Barack Obama gave his soaring speech Thursday night, his campaign was playing hardball with its critics.
Team Obama has launched an offensive against WGN, the Chicago Tribune's radio station, for interviewing Stanley Kurtz. Mr. Kurtz is a conservative writer who this week forced the University of Illinois to finally open its records on Sen. Obama's association with William Ayers, the unrepentant 1970s Weather Underground terrorist.

Yep, pretty good piece by John. What comes across most strongly is Mr. Obama’s arrogance and curt dismissal of any who would dare question his megalomania. And both came across very clearly in the Obamessiah’s “I Am a Dream” speech in the Temple of Doom.
They are going up in smoke in any case because in today's world, with the internet, and talk radio providing the avenues, the truth will come out and millions will know it (despite the best efforts of a colluding MSM), and through email, word of mouth, and phone, they will spread it to tens of millions of their relatives, friends, and neighbors.
Fact is, William Ayers is an unrepentant traitorous bastard, who declared war on this country during a time of war and then used violence in the form of terror bombings to prosecute that war on our shores against the American people. To this day he is unrepetentant and feels he did not do enough.
He was on the FBI's top 10 list for ten years and on the run, and then "magically" decided to come in during the Carter shame years, when draft dodgers and other enmies of this nation were being offered amnesty, and again, "magically" a technicality was found that caused the government to dismiss all charges.
He himself has stated, sarcastically, that he was "Guilty as hell but free as a bird".
This is the man that Barack Huseein Obama sought out, befriended, kicked his political career off at the man's house, sat on boards with, had financial dealings with, and attended speaking events together with.
The evidence of Obama's collusion with this enemy of American is damning and Obama knows it and will do all in his power to keep it from coming to light.
...and Ayers is just one of many.
Did Sandy Berger visit those places recently?
Obama should also come clean on the LOCATION of is birth and present a legal BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
John Fund writes for the editorial page. The reporters for the news pages are just as leftist as reporters for other newspapers. I doubt they'll investigate anything.

Reminds me of a saying to the effect that “hard times may reveal something in a man, but if you REALLY want to know what he’s made of, put him in a position of power.”
If this guy is arrogant now, just think what it will be like if he has the might of the U.S. Government at his disposal — the FBI, the IRS, etc., etc. George W. Bush has created a huge security apparatus to fight the war on terror, but he’s basically an honest man. Obama’s brownshirts are so itching to make the rest us us ‘be better’ that they can taste it — and if they take office, those levers of coercion will fall into their hands. Reimposing the Fairness Doctrine will be the first step — and after that, what? Speech codes for the internet? Be afraid. Be very, very afraid.
At last! Its finally starting to flow into the mainstream.
The American people deserve an explanation on why it’s ok for their President to have a terrorist as a friend.
Hopefully word will continue to get into the MSM that NObama is using the Justice Department to silence their critics. We should evoke the name of Nixon, one of the Rats favorite whipping boys, that should get their panties in a wad.

Hannity is the only one actively pursuing Ayers (as he is the one most responsible for having pursued the Wright story too)!
Investor’s Business Daily thus far has outshone the Wall Street Journal regarding its probing editorials and commentaries on the lack of qualifications and shady relationships of Obama.
