The selection of Palin is a good try...but unless Obama fumbles badly during the debates this election is over.
Barry owns “change”...and people want change. As long as Obama does not have to define his “change”, and the media shows no signs of making him do so...he will win.
Sad but true.

Barry owns change...and people want change.Ironically, "change" is the one of the real plusses about Palin. She is from outside the beltway. She is a proven reformer. She's young. She's a woman (with 5 children no less). She is the new face of the Republican Party. Now that's change.

Obama hasn’t managed to put any distance between himself and McCain in the polls despite the expected bump from his world tour and his VP selection. We’ll see what kind of bump he gets in the next few days from the convention. If it isn’t substantial he’s officially toast.

I must strongly disagree. As Barry has shown us, from Rev. Wright to Rezko to Ayers/Dorhn, he is an America-hating Marxist who uses Chicago machine politics to get ahead.
What “change” does he bring to the discussion? The only thing truly original about this man is the overwhelming arrogance and ego that no Dem politician before him has ever dared to exhibit.
I've listened to Barry for months now, and he and all of the Dem operatives can be summed up in one word: DEPRESSING.

People say they want change, but when they go into the voting booth, incumbency rules. If even a fraction of Hillary Democrats shun Obama, he will not win Ohio, a must win state. He may not even win MI or PA. Suburban Phila. and Pittsburgh voters are needed in large numbers for a Democrat to win in PA and I don't think Obama's going to get them. He'll carry the cities with 110% of the vote, as Democrats usually do.

Obama’s “change” theme died the moment he chose Biden as his Veep.

The selection of Palin is a good try...but unless Obama fumbles badly during the debates this election is over. No way. It ain't over until it's over-- we still have time for some facts to come out.
The more the average AMERICAN finds out about Obama, the less likely he is to consider voting for him.
OTOH, the more the same AMERICAN learns about Palin, the more likely he is to decide to vote McCain/Palin.
Just my humble opinion...
