Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin would make a "pretty fragile" president, Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton said Friday as politicians trotted out their talking points on Republican presidential hopeful John McCain's surprise vice presidential pick.
In a conference call with reporters, Lawton, a Democrat, said she was taken aback by the choice.

So Barbie, what did you say your approval rating is?????
Snickers...fragile ego eh?
So the Dem polling is showing the sexist remarks are backfiring so they are trotting out the lib women to do their dirty work, apparently.
Let me guess - she’s from the same generation that did nothing to advance womens’ rights for women of color or younger generations, correct?
Should we start a ‘THE LATEST JEALOUS DEMOCRAT WOMEN’S PRESS RELEASE’ PING LIST’?
LOL..haven’t read the article..but have read about Sarah Palin for the last 12 hours and folks..she is not ‘fragile’...LOL
LOL.
For two decades, the left has been building to this moment.
They have been angry. Demanding. Victimhood became the driving cause of an entire generation.
Then, something amazing. Without so much as a quota, a REPUBLICAN woman with the most flawless conservative (and libertarian in all the right ways) credentials ever.
Is about to become Vice President of the United States.
Not because of the agenda of victimhood.
BECAUSE SHE IS PERFECT FOR THE JOB.
This is an amazing day.
Metrosexual, or woman? You make the call.
And lol...fragile? Maybe Palin can take Lawton on an Alaskan hunting trip. Then we'll talk about fragility.
That’s the third or fourth variation of Wasilla’s population I’ve read, the Democrats’ versions anywhere from 2500 to 3600 less than 9000.
Palin wins.
Who ever cared about what a Lt. Governor thought? Babs. Come back and see us when YOU get a REAL job.
We knew through early testing he would face special challenges, and we feel privileged that God would entrust us with this gift and allow us unspeakable joy as he entered our lives. We have faith that every baby is created for good purpose and has potential to make this world a better place. We are truly blessed. (April 18, 2008, Anchorage Daily News)
(Sorry, I know I've been posting this on multiple threads, but this is the only chance. Strike while the iron is hot!)
I don’t think we need to be concerned about her experience; after all Bill Klintoon has already applied to be her intern.
“So the Dem polling is showing the sexist remarks are backfiring so they are trotting out the lib women to do their dirty work, apparently.”
Another one beneath the bus.....
I will dare anybody to live here in Alaska for several years at the very minimum, that means living and staying year round, we have 6 months of winter and six months getting ready for it.
Alaskans can never be “fragile”.
LOL! I was telling someone this morning....watch all the jealousy start from other women. I call it the ‘BITTER COW SYNDROME’......HAHAH!
.......said the moonbat who didn't know who Palin was until this morning.
JEALOUS.
