me too. I keep going back and wondering about the mother (casey’s mom) and how she described the vehicle....smells like dead body? coincidence? and how does one know what a dead body smells like?

Try to imagine the stench from 80 or 90 corpses, 60/200 meters to your front, after a few very hot and humid days.......
As soon as it's safe to do so -- nothing receives higher priority than getting them dragged away or covered with enough dirt/mud to stifle the stench....

how does one know what a dead body smells like? She was a nurse. She probably knew. Grandma may just be in denial now or she may be lying to help her daughter. I hope it's the former. I could understand why a woman might want to believe her granddaughter is still alive even against all odds, especially if the alternative is believing her own daughter may be a murderer. I hope that's all it is with her.
