I think this was a feeble attempt to discredit Sarah Palin by making it appear she was some sort of right wing radical. Sorry, this dog don’t hunt.
She was for Forbes in 96. Not Buchanan. This article explains the button

WAit for the headlines in days to come.......Sarah Palin Hitler. Sarah Palin Mugabe. Sarah Palin Attila.
Buchanan has a blame America first tainted view of virtually everything. That and its the Jews fault...
I can only hope she was gullible back in 96 and has since matured.
Paddy MSNBC was kinda of dismissive of her today on MSNBC, but you can’t blame Paddy, afterall he knows his paycheck is paid by Keith Olberman.
12 years ago, I would have supported Buchanan. 8 years ago, I could tolerate him. 4 years ago, he was distasteful to my sensibilities. Today, he is nuttier than a payday bar.
While I think that Buchanan went off the deep end in recent years, he was still a respectable conservative in 1996. So this reflects well on Palin, IMHO.
No, she was not a Buchanan supporter:
RNC communications director Danny Diaz shot back at Wexler: Rep. Robert Wexlers outrageous attack today on Gov. Sarah Palin is the worst kind of politics. Instead of engaging in a discussion on the issues, Wexlers smears and accusations are detestable. If Barack Obama has any intention of engaging in a serious and honorable debate, he will immediately condemn these scare tactics.
The National Jewish Democratic Council issued a measured statement, saying her hard-line stance on abortion is to the right of most American Jews and questioning her support from the Christian Coalition. The Republican Jewish Coalition (also doing its job) defended her in a statement that makes no reference to Israel.

All the more reason to vote for her, errr, I mean McCain and her.
Your article = Bull Pucky

= The truth.
I was also a member of the Buchanan Brigades. Pat Buchanan RULES!
LOL. I can’t stand Pat, but beginning your political career supporting him is just a teeny tiny bit more reputable than hanging out with an admitted terrorist bomber. As long as we’re playing the guilt-by-association game.
Your win the number 1 crap post of the day.
