Most Muslims don't.
These women are angry at the way Barack and his thugs strong-armed the nomination away from Hillary. They all turned on Hillary and weren’t respectful towards her.
Hillary had the most votes. Obama and his thugs stole it.
Additionally, Obama was very condescending to Hillary in the debates. It was clear to me that he doesn’t have much respect for women.
They have a right to be bitter.
“But for today John McCain has hit it unexpectedly out of the park and has grown in stature even for those of us who may have been voting against Obama. Now we have a team to really fight for. “
Agree 100%.
VERRRY interesting thread. I suspect this relatively small sample is a reflection of just how many of her supporters feel about this election now.
I’ve read a lot of polls where Obama does better with white men than he does with white women. For some reason, they don’t like him. I guess they can see right through him. They don’t like Michelle Obama either. They know they’re frauds.
Obama won’t win without white women.
Plenty of people will vote for OHB simply because he’s black.
A few years ago I was reading an FR print out about Algore on the park and ride bus. The lady setting next to me was blathering on about Clinton but she didn’t really like gore. I said my brother was thinking about voting for Alan Keyes. She got all excited and said if he were on the ballot she would vote for him....... appearance is so much. Other than that he was black she didn’t know anything about him.
Yet there are people who think women should not vote.
Some of them will come to be Repubs. They need someone to follow and cheer for in the coming days. They are probably like us and follow politics closely. Actually I thought Hillary was treated very bad too by both the media and the Dems.
I would argue a lot of people NOT like us are well-intentioned but not very political outside a superficial knowledge. THerefore, these people are not ‘hard-leftists’ (witness the talk of country first and not associating with a racist church on a hillary forum) but simply misinformed individuals who just needed a good reason to turn against the party that had been drummed into their skulls from Day One.
I’ve met a number of women recently that sounded VERY MUCH like conservatives on any number of issues but had probably just been brainwashed by media or education to think “Democrat” is right. Meanwhile, they like guns (or are OK with them) preach personal responsibility and are not PC.
Republicans, if they want to win, need to understand this dynamic and not shun people who may not be as knee-deep in political philosophy as most of us here.
Other than that he was black she didnt know anything about him.

He’s a serious man.
She was the MSM darling at first, then they found someone who they thought was better and dropped her like a bad habbit.
I wonder if the Obama supporters will start the riots early, or still wait until after the election.
I don't see it. There may be a hard-core group of thugs/socialists who would like that to happen (probably Ayers being one), but I don't think the majority of Barack's supporters are that way. I see them resigned to take their loss in stride, especially if the election gets called early for McCain.
It is truly an historic moment in American politics.
to be completely honest, I was 1) being lazy about the research (I’m TIRED, it’s friday and,,,) 2) I was in the middle of a pretty rigorous workout and was having serious issues with the keyboard ( Ok, I was having issues TYPING!!!!!!)
Anyway... I’ll go back to the site later or tomorrow when I’m not so exhausted. lol
Which is why any true Hillary supporter won't vote for a McCain/Palin ticket. They fear Sarah.
sw
...not all Hillary supporters are part of the radical pro-abortion NOW crowd...many of them are heartland American moms who work hard and care about their families, try to do the right thing, but have a conflicting leftist philosophy left over from their state run schools...when they get to know Sarah Palin they will realize they have much more in common with her then they ever did with Hillary.
Some black women don’t like him either and voted for Hillary. They are mad the way she was treated.
“But gimme a break, dont vote for someone because of gender or race. Vote for someone because you agree with them for crying out loud.”

I agree totally with the sentiment but my thought is that representative government is based on the idea that honest people will put forth their true convictions and invite the voters to either accept or reject them. Far too often today the reverse is true, the candidates try to anticipate what the voters will support and then they claim to believe in that. I think the Republicans are more honest than the Democrats in this respect but there are very few in either party who step up and say this is what I am about and if you don’t like it say so and I will go back to what I was doing before. If we had more honest candidates we might have more honest voting.
