Savage comes from a traditional 50's America and so do I where mens' and womens' roles were more clearly defined than they are now. I'm sure that has a lot to do with his viewpoint on this Palin pick as it has a lot to do with my own.
A mother of 5 should be busy running her house for her kids and husband and NOT out running a Statehouse or much worse the nation's Whitehouse.
What would make a woman aspire to such power in her life? Being a wife and mother is a full time job especially when you throw in a Downs Syndrome child.

My,my for once all you infidels are on the same side as the Savage hating trolls, so how does it feel for a change to be in the majority, lol?
I don't recall any of you guys beating the drum for this relative unknown Palin before today on any previous Savage threads, so whats the deal, pls enlighten me and Savage.

LOL. You are in a bad mood today WITT. I had heard of Palin around the time it was known her baby would have Down’s syndrome. She was very forthright about drilling in ANWR. Wish McCain was.

If Mccain loses, Savage will be vindicated.

"Okay tell me how she is qualified to be Commander-In-Chief of the free world."
There is no such thing as a Commander in Chief of the free world.
Now Palin is already a Commander in Chief. She is the Commander in Chief of an outstanding National Guard, the rugged fighting men and women of the Alaska National Guard. The only way to gain experience as CIC of the US military, is to be the President, so to judge anyone else, we have to look at character and leadership abilities.

I use the same argument that I would use for a woman in combat, why send women to do an obviously man's job when you STILL have qualified men that will do it.
This pick was not about qualifications, it's just a game of chess with the Dems, I for one want the most qualified MEN among us to lead this Nation against the MEN of our enemies.

Exactly, It brings back the base and gives you one hell of a chance at stealing quite a few female votes.
It’s a no brainer.

Agree, but the fact of the matter remains the Palin is not running for the presidency. McCain holds all the credentials needed to win the white house, Palin just rallies the base and steals a few votes.

Geez! I guess it's easy to be angry if you have the SF Chronicle to look at every day.
To: whatisthetruth
Nobody wants less.....but we must deal in reality....and Palin will serve her country well.....

“What man didn’t want to reach out and do something for this woman?”
Or do something to one of a legion of illegal alien gangbangers that white liberals refuse to deal with.
Current caller: Inhuman scumbags? That sounds about right.

I wouldn’t look at the SF Chronicle.
FR has the real news anymore.
